Well done and reviewed! About rear leg room, the CL was a little shorter in length than the Sedan Short whellbase, additionally the CL had a longer trunk deck and thus you get limited leg room for rear pax.

My radio does same thing lol, these are complicated cars you need to learn the ins and outs on your own, I already installed the s600 grill insert have everything ready for full tune up including both cabin filters, also will do valve covers, spark plugs, Cam shaft Oiler tubes all 16 with aluminum ones . Also will refurbish all wood since most of the wood is cracked there is a Place in California that been doing my wood for 12 years, you can fix that drivers door Fila I’ll send you information just let me know.

Its good that you are changing out the plastic tubes for aluminium. I'm currently trying to find a 600 grille from URO but they seem to be back ordered and out of stock from the last 3 vendors I checked. I'll check the link you sent thanks man.

I’m looking for a c140 coupe of the w140 as well, I’m going to go ahead and get a v12, I just bought a 1999 w140 Grand Edition was a challenging to find.

Hi, about seats going forward. So when the door is closed seat is locked in place and when door is open seat is free to move forward without pushing button on a side? Or button should be used at all times? The reason why I'm asking is that I looked at 2 of these and I thought seat latch for upper part is broken.

hey, from what I remember, its with the button it unlocks. The car is in storage right now, I will have to check when I get a chance.

Hi, Fila. Is there any difference in driving comfort between coupe and sallon! Do you feel something different?

Hi Laszlo, its hard to say because I have new suspension on the coupe now, (Bilstein sport plus) But before I changed the suspension, the coupe felt a lot lazier, bouncier and slow to respond to steering. After swapping the suspension the coupe feels waaay nicer than the sedan. I feel more confident driving the coupe into turns aggressively.

the car didn't come with rear shade option surprisingly, one of the more bare optioned CL's out there

does the coupe drive different from the saloon??? i have a 98 cl600 same wheels as your coupe in silver too

Very nice! Yes the coupe drives different for sure. Its hard to pinpoint how or why. the CL felt floatier and longer if that makes sense. My saloon felt sportier until I ended up swapping the springs and suspension in the coupe recently. Now the coupe feels crisp

@@raycroal I got H&R lowering springs for the w140/c140 and kept the SLS rear system and replaced the front shocks with Bilstein sport plus. I kept the stock rubber shims, but theoretically, depending on your rubber thickness you can go lower, 1 notch being the lowest.

@@Fila0220 i got 3 notch shims on my car i have 1 notch shims in the trunk i might just try the smaller shims before i change springs. so you would recommend lowering and stiffenning the front does the car ride rougher? or any bad points like tyre wear? i take it you got bilstien b8 yellow shocks?

@@raycroal Yes I have the B8 yellow Bilsteins, off eBay. I got the pair for $220 at the time. I absolutely love how they ride. The car turns and handles it self a lot more confidently but its def stiffer on bumps, like it takes the bumps fast and I feel a little bounce in my seat, if that makes sense. I don't daily the CL so I have no problem driving on them once a month. Do you have an easier way of swapping out shims? Because the only way I know is to remove the spring and its kind of a hassle.
