you might want a slightly heavier prop, sounds like over revving. nice engine though!

Prop is a little damaged and needs replacing. Looking at my options

What was the trim set at ?

Out of the 5 it was set on 3 ( the middle) neutral trim

Got one , 1999 25 EL . Probably has less than 30 hrs on it and its going on a 14 ft Steury side console this spring .
