Been meaning to say thank you sir..on some of the previous videos of yours that have taught me so much.. I have found many of the smaller varieties thanks to your videos.. some like the drooling George. I found one of the kanaka ole with a bump on George nose. In a few others that I would like to post on one of your websites as soon as I can figure out how to put some pictures up.. once again thank you sir.. i've been enjoying learning from your videos very much.. I hope you will continue to teach me in the future..
I've been putting my change in a 5 gallon Water Cooler jug for over 20 years. I dumped it out a few days ago. I found two 2000 P Maryland Quarters missing the clad layer. Both are solid copper. I saw a graded one on eBay going for around $300.
My girlfriend found a very weird quarter at work. She brought it home because she thought it was cool. The lady on the obverse is shiny and reflects rainbow-like effects from the light. Same with the entire pole she’s holding and bird. The effect perfectly matches the outline. Such small detail that it’s crazy to think someone had a gentle enough hand and tools to fake this. It’s an extraordinary specimen. Gives me the goosebumps looking at it.
On the reverse side of mine, p mint, the very outer edge is quite a bit bigger on most of it, and then it tapers off at one point to pretty much no edge. Is that an error?
I have a Pennsylvania P quarter that's probably a MS68 or 69. I got it when the first years state coins came out, and put it in the state map coin book.
Do you have information on colored 1999 PA quarters? I have one that i cannot find another one in a similar color scheme. I've been looking for weeks. I can't even find a picture of one like the one i have. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
I just found one today 6-20-2023 with what looks like a die crack coming to the top left corner of the state shield and doubling at the base of the state shield
I have a Pennsylvania state quarter that the back of it has no date only the center of the coin is stamped on it about a circle smaller then a dime. The rest of the back is a perfect circle of a line circle

I think it's first a process of making sure it's metal flow as opposed to just "shine" from plating. After that, taking it to an expert in person is the best way to go... most of the time it'll be plated, but especially if it looks MS and weight is off, that is another telltale sign.
I need some help please if anyone is willing to help. My aunt has one of these coins, with a P mint mark. But the 1787 in the back has no “1” it says “787”
