You certainly seem to know these bikes inside out bud, really enjoyable to watch, will be watching more right now. I have an E1 as you see in my profile pic, love the ZX9r's. Extra Sub earned, almost at 1k 👍

Thank you. I wouldn't say I know them inside/out, but I'm learning.

@@thingstoconsider5186 what workshop manual do you use if you don't mind me asking, and can I get hold of one in the UK by any chance? I have a Haynes manual, they are great, but not as detailed as they could be in some areas.

@@HalfdeadRider It's an OEM repair manual. I purchased it from Ebay. I think it was about $20.00 U.S.

@@thingstoconsider5186 I actually searched for those today, they are going for silly prices now. Cheapest I can find for the E1 & E2 was about £40, some much more. I'd need the EU/UK model version too really incase of diferances. Thanks though bud 👍

What are your plans for the bike? Your videos have been a great help. I am currently rebuilding mine and hopping to have it up and running soon.

The plan was to restore it as close to original as possible. Had to put on hold due to moving, etc. As soon as I can, I plan to get back to it. Glad the videos have been helpful.

@@theshadow2256 They are called resonators. As far as I know, they help reduce air intake noise.

@@theshadow2256 I don't have any experience with that, but did read some forums where the resonators were removed. You can browse for yourself to see what you think. One stated the intake airflow was louder. Another mentioned something to be aware of when riding while it is raining?

Hi. Do you know if the low beam bulb can be changed by removing the triangular plastic cover underneath the headlight? Or do I have to take the entire nose off to get access?
@thingstoconsider5186
@thingstoconsider5186 3 месяца назад
Sorry to say that I've never replaced the headlight bulb with the ZX-9R fully assembled. The OEM repair manual does not state to remove anything to gain access. It gives the impression that the bulb can be removed without removing any of the fairing components.

Hope you don’t mind me asking, what version is the bike. I’m trying to work out where the original radiator overflow was on a bike I recently acquired. I have a T (1999) C. Thanks in advance Kev
