I know G. But things have to change. If they didn’t we wouldn’t be able to appreciate this sort of OG shit. It’s like a circle. Your mom isn’t supposed to like YOUR music. Same way your not supposed to like your 13 year olds music.... it’s just the way the game is....
Yeah your right just keep listening to the old stuff and go to diffrent genres but I feel like EDM and Rock hasn't changed though and those are my favorite genre to listen too
this song never gets old. This is one of those songs that you can listen to over and over for years to come. Some songs just hit you like that. nahmean.....yeah buddy !
I’m 19 years old and I’m so glad I was raised with a great and diversified taste in music… shout-out to RU-vid for recommending this shit a few months back man just adding to my arsenal of bangers
Cool man. Yeah, me too. "straight outta cali" you have "escape from deathrow" as well? what about "westside rydaz vol 1"? the one that came with the calendar. :)
Yeah got the calendar and yeah it came in a green plastic case, no booklet. Nice man, i easily have over 1000 hip hop cd's, probably about 75% westcoast but i have lots of east coast and some south as well. Off the top of my head i cant think if anything i want in my collection but dont have. Except some eastcoast stuff like i dont think i have a copy of Gravediggaz 6 feet deep or O.C jewlez currently. But i got most the westcoast stuff i was after like lil half deads albums and i have all the dpg stuff. I dont have a hard copy of generals list 2 or the latest spice 1 and Dru down albums but not sure they exist? i dont think i have a a hard copy or "welcome to the chuuch vol 2"? , hmm, there was one dove shack album i never got a hard copy of, the one that had Nate dogg on it. There was a foesum album i couldnt get as well. Hmm gone blank on the title. I only have Brotha lynch hungs bullet maker E.P digital only as well.
Mb, does he have anymore material??? This shit slap, I’m literally stuck in the 90’s and 80’s !!! Straight real music man ✊🏿✊🏿 and who is the actual artist ??? On this song.
G funk4 life is my perspective. Zfor the longest time I was collecting g funk albums no matter what region the rapper was from. That led to a huge mission that went hard on my finances there's just so much g funk out there and I had to stop then I got heavily into boom bap east coast and I had to stop
One of the biggest myths of the g funk era is that rappers weren't lyrical. This entire complication isn't just full of great beats, but also great lyricism. Crooked I is a beast.
Definitely know what you mean it’s that LA/CPT/LBC sound I’ve always thought the rappers from those areas would just spit those grimy west coast bars over a pimp ass beat I never got either when people say the west isn’t lyrical .. oh yea can’t forget the BAY 🖖🏼 either
