My dad's office had a 1A system that was installed by NYTel in the mid-1960s when they moved into that location. The phones were 564 sets. That system was in place until the early-1980s when they bought a 1A2 system from an interconnect company. It was pre-divestiture so NYTel came and took the phones but left the apparatus box with the KTUs ... so I now have it! I have displayed it working at the Lancaster, PA show a few times. I connectorized the phones I use with it with 8P8C modular connectors.
So that’s what those relays the phone guy gave to me with no info on connecting them 47 or so years ago. They’re probably still in my garage. Don’t remember if it they was a line card or some other relay from the system.
