I would like to add that Heal is not only the best healing spell... but can be used to nuke an undead target. Beautiful versatility!

Great video, I rolled a Desna cleric with domains of luck and travel. This lets me have so much movement and access to dimension door. I agree with your spell selection but I also like Holy ice and debilitating portent. Combine these with luck, where I can make anyone reroll a d20 per caster level. So much fun playing this style.

I am currently playing a Spellslinger/Myrmidarch and the benefits + rewards are HUGE. The Spellslinger is a dual-enchanter class, meaning they can enchant both weapons the possess with little cost. We are playing a game like Darksiders, where humanity is under attack and we the nephilim have to protect them. The wizard has prohibited schools, but can apply their special spell storing enhancement to both guns (if they dual-wield) and get two spellstrikes, along with the Myrmidarch "ranged spellstrike" ability. Its awesome! Currently level 12, the Spellslinger class allows dancing, spell storing, vicious, thundering, flaming, Icy, and shocking burst enhancements to be placed on the firearms by spending a spell equal to the level of enhancements your guns have. I CRIT! And now, with dancing, I can attack with guns AND cast spells! *note, this requires a little research.

- not taking Freedom of Movement for 4th level spellslot Now that's a paddlin'. you dont often get very many "No, I dont get trapped. puny trap cannot contain me" spells that allow you to turn an ambush around on the attacker instantly (especially if you took liberation domain and have it for your domain spell slot too) or maybe Blessing of Furvor. Options are good. Combat options are great. But combat options that they can choose ANEW EVERY ROUND UNTIL THE SPELL ENDS..... man that's an amazing spell for buffing your party

This is interesting, for the cure light wounds "trick", I can't find any meta magic feats that add 0 level, that also work for healing spells. Intensify adds +1 levels, also metamagic forces a cast to be longer, so even if you can get away with the argument that the level 1 spell turned into a 0 level would convert it to a swift spell, it would then turn it into a standard action again. At worst it would be a full round 0 level spell.

if your a defensive cleric you might like things such as archons aura, shield of faith, iron skin

This is awesome dude! My GM told me about a prestige class the other day, because the ones in the core books so more have been meh for clerics, that I like... Evangelist, largely because you keep all your cleric stuff and can take on this new role that's so not about being a heal bot. So far, I play my cleric of Cayden Cailean more like paladin that a typical cleric, and these spells offer great options, not just that but another way at looking at what a cleric can really do. It's really becoming my favorite class when previously I played a fighter, which is still good, but I like being to able to do so many things. Keep up the good work! Capt Kirk, out!

Nice video. However there's a couple of spells in there that have super-specific requirements. At least if your GM plays according to Golarion canon. The spell Bloodsworn Retribution is only available to followers of Torag. According to the book it's in (Dwarves of Golarion): "In order to prepare any of these spells, the caster must spend an hour performing a ritual in which he beseeches Torag (or a member of his family) for the aid of one of his divine family members." Nine Lives is a Catfolk-only spell also. ("Catfolk have access to the following spells...", Advanced Race Guide.) I'm not sure how many GMs play with the deity-specific and race-specific rules for spells. Personally I do. Otherwise things can get a bit OP, as well as less flavourful.

just to be clear magical lineage doesn't work like that and was clarified by paizo to not work like that, i know this vid is old and it may have been clarified after the vid was made, but specifically you can't lower the level of a spell below it's original level. I just found this vid, and a good watch and i know it's old but thought i'd point this out, as the advanced player's guide FAQ specifically mentions this combo and how it's actually handled.

Don't know yet if you have a druid optimization, but I play a druid in society sometimes, and I immediately tell people im not a healer
