This man was a teaching legend. One of the absolute best professors I ever had the benefit of learning from. Amazing man. I will always be grateful for his support and encouragement. Ave atque vale, magister.

I would not have graduated college without this man. I was an ill prepared freshman that he took under his wing. Dr. Holle demanded that I visit him multiple times a week so he could review my work (from ALL of my courses). He saw that I had the drive and intelligence to succeed and would not allow me to fail. I cannot express the debt I owe Dr. Holle for his impact on my life.

He took his class on ancient Greek in 2015. He was a boss in this field, a gangster in his lecture style.
