There’s a creek in my yard and a magnolia that blooms every spring. There’s also a wild raspberry bush in the summer and a million buttercups that make the ground yellow. I live in just a regular neighborhood with houses right next to me but my backyard feels like a fairytale sometimes

I agree. Being an adult is way overrated. I wish I could go back and tell my young self you don't want to grow up. Stay a kid for as long as you can. Enjoy your friends, your school and the simple way of life. Because when you do grow up you are going to really miss them all and so much more.

Yes I understand I was going through stuff for some months and this week got even more tough on me I finally opened about it to my school counselor (which I didn’t go to she kinda just came to me since my school knows everyone has Been going through a tough time ) and I didn’t think much of it but not until I got done taking to her that I felt better (I mean she didn’t help much on giving me any advice she kept repeating the same thing TT^TT)but just talking about it helped me and made me feel like weight is off me now I feel like For once someone actually got to listen to me and let me speak and I hope to talk to her again

I'm so stressed. My parents wanting me to keep up my grades. Me not finding love. It's alot and I'm trying...I'm really trying and it feels like I'm all alone. But ik that there will be good days soon...I just gotta believe....believe.

Thank you for this reminder: I needed to hear this. I made the decision today to stay friends with this guy who I think was being a bit romantic with me. It was nice when we shared physical affection, but it was too fast and I felt like I couldn't breath. I'm glad he was okay with how I opened up to him. I didn't want to fall in love or be infatuated with him because that would just in pain (and I know what it's like because I've experienced it several times, and this is the last STRAW). I feel like I'm surrounded by couples and potential couples and romance. I longed for it 4-5 weeks ago and when I finally had my hands on it, I felt so confined and didn't know how to react. I felt grateful for the hugs, and dances, and carrying, and "just friends," but it took up too much of my mind. I let all those words out even though it would've been easier to stay silent. I do like taking risks, yes, and opening up about how I feel is a chance I took today, but I prefer taking mature risks. I don't want to date just because everyone else is doing it. I don't want to do it to forget about someone. I don't want to date for it to fill me up. I don't want to date because I want to become more attached. I want to date someone because I want to create something long-term. I want to date someone because I like the person. I want to date once I realize that I accept their flaws and everything about them, and still choose to love them. I want a mature love, not just a fling. I want a healthy relationship (not saying this friendship is not healthy). And ultimately, I now understand my ex when he said he was uncomfortable: I want something that grows gradually into a beauty. I used to be mad at you C, but in my POV, I realize I may have been too confining and touchy, and I apologize for that. This risk that I took today has led me to yet another new beginning. Will you look at that??!! Wowww. Good night now.
