*** 1MORE has added a FW update to the 1MORE Music App for the ColorBuds. Programmable controls are here. You can now customize both 2x tap and 3x tap for skip track, play/pause, and volume control!!! ***
Didn't expect them to drop this for the same price as the 1more stylish! I agree with the passthrough mode, it would've been nice to include it here in more budget friendly model at 100 bucks. The update seems sweet though!
Love the clarity 1 More brings to their earbuds. Don't have any of the tws though. Have to get that taken care of. Missing a few things on these, but the price is right.
Cool way to review. I picked the 1MORE Color buds.I was looking for wireless and these were my choice based on your review. The problem I have is I'm spoiled. The norm for me is in ear monitors. These are OK, just ok.
Correct. This is why I recommend using TWS adapters/IEM combo for IEM lovers instead of regular true wireless earbuds. I personally use FIIO UTWS5 with my Moondrop Kato. No true wireless earbuds come close to this level of sound quality. This is also why I NEVER compare IEMs to TWS.
Thanks for another great review. If you can get in touch with these earbud manufacturers, please suggest to them to stop spending unnecessary money on their packaging and instead offer transparency/ambient/passthru mode. With in-ear buds, ANC is almost never necessary. There are some great budget buds out there but without transparency mode, it just feels you're too secluded from the world!
I think the price without ANC is acceptable because the cost of a balance armature is higher than a dynamic. And why 1more can tune the colorbuds deep surprisingly because 1more had tried a lot of different drivers like 5 balance armatures and graphite dynamic, so they have the ability to tune the 3 frequencies at a balance range in a single driver earphones.
Great review Jeff. Was planning on buying Lypertek Tevi, but now waiting on these to launch in India, especially since they are smaller as compared to the stylish and now have touch control. Cheers mate!
I have taotronics 79 I'm glad but I want to sell it and buy it because it's small and colorful. What I'm afraid of is the difference in sound quality. Because taotronics has very good sound quality.
Very often these buds with touch control do not register what you intend to do in one go. Hence in my opinion buds with touch control must have in ear detection feature so that you take out the bud (and the music stops), when you intend to pause your music and is not registered in first or even second attempt.
Those buds are great, man! I purchased my stylish from your recommendation before. But now i think, Tranya T10 is a better buy for me. Only costed around $40 and feature packed. Good to see you making awesome vids! Hope to see more! 🔥
Fingers crossed for a transparency mode update (though it's a long shot). I'm a scavaging all over for a $100 price tag with passthrough audio and I only have the Fiil T1XS and the upcoming Tronsmart Apollo Bold. Hope you can do a comparison video, El Jefe! Your reviews really help me a lot in choosing
Any clue when they'll be available in India? They ain't listed on 1more India site. Not even for pre-booking unlike the US site in your description. Also, great review. I was kinda tired of most of the Indian reviewers out there who simply rate every other TWS as the best without giving much details. Keep up the good work. Cheers.
I have heard it might be the at the end of August. Not 100% sure about that so do not quote me. Also, thank you for the kind words bro! I do my best to give you the information you need to make a better purchase decision.
@@ELJefeReviews Well I just saw your "Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Review video" and looks like I'll be going ahead with those as the mic quality was suuuuper clean and I really use my earphones for calls as well as to listen a complete mix of music, be it instrumental stuff., from cello & piano, to retro beats, Weeknd, Eye of The Tiger and what not. But sadly those are kinda outta stock on all Indian sites. Guess I've got a lot more time to watch all your videos now. LOL. Starting with "Liberty 2 Pro" now. It's 0116 hrs in India by the way. But I don't need sleep, I need answers.
These buds give you two functions to use a limited number of choices so you can have volume control and one other. Saying that they don't have volume control isn't accurate. But man I agree with you limited controls on these buds is Whack. Great review thank you El jefe.🤔💯
Another great review! I have the stylish, very happy with them, wish they had a little more bass, maybe a touch louder. I also have the dual driver anc pro, think I used twice def not loud enough or bass enough. I am looking for just a good quality very bass heavy earbud, do not really care about anc or mic quality, any suggestions?
Right here. No bells and whistles. Just bass and volume. If these still aren't loud enough, you might need to get your hearing tested. --> amzn.to/32TMiHh
Hey EL JEFE, a year ago i bought 1more Stylish because of you and i'm glad i did. Now you make me wanna buy these, should i go ahead or "Stylish" are good enough?. Thank you.
What I derive from the comments below is that soon you are requested (if possible) to come up with a comparison video between these and 1 more stylish.
Good Job on the review JEFE. Have you seen the Tronsmart Apollo Bold ANC buds at 99USD? No one has a review on these on YT sadly, as i see. The specs are too good at this price...Hope You'll have a review on them soon.
So version two of the stylish, just not in name huh..The no volume control thing in 2020, kinda makes Joshua grouchy 😄 haha but it's all good, just having some fun; not a deal breaker in my case either, just kinda annoying..But if firmware coming, puts that at ease mostly..and yes pass through/ambient, would've been great..I like 1more in general, I really do. Great review brotha! 👍🏼🤘🏼😎✌🏼
Dude.. as always a spot review. By any chance would you know now if they ever did that update with the volume and touch control features? Would be great to know since they’re on sale on Amazon for $28 😳
Great review Jeff! I too was worried about the balances armature not having the same bass as a dynamic driver, but I’m glad to hear that these buds have been well optimised! Is that shirt some of your brothers merch?
I didn't know which one I should buy the old ones or new ones but usb-c in the new ones and also the smaller buds and case made me buy the new ones and thx for this perfect video the only Channel that shows them next to each other (I hope they are better than my old ones about to break “elari nano buds“?)
Hey ELJEFE, Great video. I have a question for you. I’m debating between the color buds or the stylish. I work in a plant that has a lot of noise. So I use my AirPods Pro for calls but music isn’t good. Between the two. Which one do yo think had the best call quality. And deep bass. I’m A bass head so don’t know which one between the 2.
Neither is going to give you the background noise cancellation you get with the AirPods Pro for phone calls. Not even close. These will give you better music quality though but you will have to give up the call quality you currently enjoy. Here's a direct comparison between both the Stylish and the Colorbuds. -> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_mKjzERd9uE.html
EL JEFE REVIEWS Thanks man. Yeah I figured that about call quality. How about between color and stylus which has deeper bass? Or are they both the same in that department.
Both have strong bass but the Stylish is deeper. Unfortunately the Stylish lack the midrange smoothness and treble clarity of the Colorbuds. Both are great but slightly different. Same as I said in the video comparison I linked in my previous comment.
Long time no comment! I'm still doing fine. Here we go. I find it interesting that they chose to do a single balanced armature. Also, how do these compare to the sound of the 1more triple driver are these even close in terms of the quality? And if you can, how are they compared to lypertek nevi.
Thank u soooo much jef for the link you provided today during your live stream for 1 more color buds. The thing which I'm interested to know that I have already grabbed 1 more stylish a year back. So is it worth upgrading to 1 more color buds. I am only concerned with sound quality. Thank u once again.
I just found out about these and I had to see what you thought! Awesome review as always, Jefe. Would you say these are worth it? I currently have the Stylish and I love them, but these look like an upgrade. Do you think it'd be worth it?
My brother-in-law has been looking for ridiculously loud truly wireless earbuds to go beast mode at his job, and when he works out. Any suggestions? As always, great review! Hope all is well with you and stay safe! 🤘🏼
Do these sound better than the original? Also when it comes to bass...would you consider these as one of the best or do you recommend something else for bass lovers.
@@jprowland5569 No. You can get 95% of the quality for half the price with the Triple drivers. Also, it seems like the Quads need a good AMP or DAC to truly shine.
What I like about the 1More Stylish is that they don't need to be stuck in your ear canal to stay in. I use the bigger "ring" and the smallest earbud tips. It looks like these don't have that anymore. What do you recommend for that? Are the original airpods the best? I have an Android phone. Thanks.
Now im thinking of getting this colorbuds ! By the way which one as good sound this or the stylish because I already on the 1more stylish. Thanks and God bless!
What do you think about these compared to your previous favorite under $100, the Liberty Air 2? Sound quality and just overall? I'm a huge fan of the 1more quad drivers, so naturally, I had to come check these guys out for true wireless.
As I said in this video, these have excellent sound quality. But they are nothing like the Quad drivers so that should not be a reference point. I still prefer the LA2 as they are much more versatile and user friendly.
The call quality is lacking for the price range, the design is quite pleasing & the colors are nice & subdued, not flashy at all. Let's see what happens when the OTA comes out.
I see the rubber tip but would you call these a semi in-ear fit? I recently got a pair of the Tozo T10 and I thought they were great (sound, functionality, performance) but my ear canal is short and shallow so the rubber tipped earbuds all slide out of my ear regardless of the size of the rubber piece I put on it. Unfortunately I have to return the Tozo and I need something more like the Apple headphones because those do not fall out of my ear. I seem to hear good things about 1more and your review of it was thorough and great! I'm just worried it wont fit. Also, I'm curious about the 1More Comfobuds (ESS3001T) and if you have had any experience or heard anything about them. Sorry for the long post. Thank you for your time and a great review!
Why would people pre-judge the SQ solely based on the driver technology. Apart from planar and electrostatic, I have experienced great headphones equipped with various driver technologies across a wide budget range.
Hi.. El Jeffe. I'm thinking to replace my 1more Stylish to : *Samsung Galaxy Buds + *Lypertik Tevi *1more ANC *1more Colorbuds, Which is do you think the best tws in that options? That's for the help.
EL JEFE REVIEWS and guys basically I’m looking for an all round earbud not other 100, for small ear canals, comfort (most important part and that won’t out) , everyday use, gym, sound trap hip hop soul rnb drill, decent battery life, Qi wireless charging (not a big dealbreaker tho) I’m new to true wireless earbuds and want something that’s not airpods.
I had 1more style headphones and they were lost. Are those headphones you talked about in the video the same level? And the headphone islands will fit into the case of the 1 more style.
I like your reviews, could you answer these questions. - I have edifier w830bt, and I want to buy anker soundcore q10 (black/red). How do they compare in terms of sound quality ?. I watched your video of the black q10, but only the black/red version is available in my region. - How does the soundpeats truewings sound quality compare to the black/red q10 ? (I know TWS vs over ear is unfair) - How long does it take to fully charge the soundpeats truewings? I can't find this anywhere.
Would you please do a comparison between these and the 1More Stylish? Or are these a replacement for the Stylish? Can these hot swap between two Bluetooth devices? The Stylish cannot.
What are the best anc Bluetooth headphones around $150?? I know this isn’t related to this video lol but I’m needing some help here. I was gonna get a new pair of soundsurge 46 but I have a little more budget and I’m looking for something better than those. Thanks :)
Looks like Edifier w860nb are a solid choice. They are normally $125 but are currently on major discount. -> amzn.to/3jALHzW If you can step up to $178, the Sony XB900n would be better. -> amzn.to/3g9IMvO
The 1MORE ColorBuds are $99, available for pre-order now, and there is a 20% discount in the video description. OnePlus does not send me review samples. Also, those are open-ear AirPod Clone design. This leads to poor sound quality. I may review them at some point but I'm already disappointed. The Bullets Z are very good so this news is a let down.
@@ELJefeReviews thanks for your input ! Onemore usually has a cheaper pricing in india ( where I live) and these aren't available here yet , so I'm guessing they will be similarly priced to the OnePlus buds , I get that thing about the sound quality but one thing that I've noticed is that my ears are much more suitable to the apple earbud / OnePlus shape , although the ones with the silicon eartips may sound better , I can wear the apple shaped ones for much longer hours , so it's kinda bittersweet for me , I want the audio quality but I also feel like no matter which size eartip I use , they are too tight to fit in my ears and slip out after an hour max .
@@ELJefeReviews Agreed! OnePlus should not make those Airpods clone. But as they are a Smartphone company, we may not expect much from them in terms of earbuds quality.
How do you think these compare to the lypertek tevis? I have them but the adhesive that kept the two parts of the bud together gave away and now my right bud is being held together by the internals and I did kinda wanna get 1more earbuds because I used to have the triple driver wired ones and they sounded fantastic as hell
Hi El Jefe! Do you think there are some earbuds that has bad microphones, poor features but are EXTREMELY good for music to the point where they can be as good their higher price rivals? (100$) I was thinking about Cambridge Megalomania what do you raccomend?
I wish they would have gone a different direction in the colors...pastels again? No red, blue, darker green, etc. Didn’t need another pastel model, guess there is always black, but most are black
Hey, I really like the sound signature of 1more ( used to have their dual drivers wired earphones ). My brother have sony WF-XB700, those sound really good and loud too. When I listen to them I keep volume level at 60% or so. I also have redmi airdots 2, but their sound level is way too low even on 90%. I wanted to know if colorbuds 2 loudness level compares to my sony more or with redmi airdots 2. I definitely don't want something as quite as redmi airdots 2.
That they would leave out volume control after rolling it into a firmware update for the 1More Stylish last December is beyond me. I bought the older model several months ago and was a pain having to constantly pull out the phone to adjust volume. I realize there's also a firmware update for these. But, why not include it to begin with? Are they using the same firmware for both devices? The earbuds seem to have been reshaped. They remind me of the Votomy. No wings and a more bulbous shape to the body of the bud. I liked the Votomy. But, could never get a proper fit that wouldn't fall out of one of my ear canals. YMMV. But, this is a potential disappointment without trying them. Glad to see the price is in line with what the Stylish were. The color choices are pretty much the same as the prior models though the gold looks more like a flesh tone than traditional gold (at lest in the promotional materials). What kind of charging do they have? I don't see it mentioned in their online specs.
