Playing at top speeds is rough. When pushing myself I train around 140km/h and if you don't have a trigger it's extremely hard to move your feet let alone get onto the back foot. You've got to watch the ball like nothing else. Good video 👍
I am Australian so when i saw the 75 speed, my mind took it as kilometres/hr and thought how is he struggling, only to realise its bloody miles and its almost 130km/hr. Great content and unique idea
Many moons ago when langer was at middlesex, after colts training I stayed back and watched him face the bowling machine at 78mph using only his top hand, was hitting the back wall every time. It was unreal.
I've always wondered why people don't put gutters around the inside edge of the cricket nets. Have them sloped towards Bowlers end and no more having to walk around collecting all the balls.
Great video mate, it would have been better to play those with some variations though, like a surprising short one after a lot of overpitched ones, you know. Nevertheless, this was some quality content.
Hi! You are very underrated and are very good at cricket. I know this may not be your speciality but can you do a video about how to not be scared of fast bowlers when batting? I’d be very greatful as I’m only 12 and facing very fast bowlers
This is a great vid, yt needs so much more cricket content imo. I hate to be this guy too but I can't help myself: PLEASE close that batting stance up or at least add a trigger to close it up. your hand eye is evidently decent but you are killing yourself at quicker speeds because your front foot has to travel miles to get to the line of the ball. Anything on that off stump/5th stump line or that swings late/seams will prove a problem as shown in this vid and the net vid with that shite bat (which was also class btw).
I remember throwing golf balls at a wall and try to hit them it help heaps with hand eye with the diameter of the golf ball. But you still need footwork from real cricket as the primary focus.
