I understand people have suggestions about your videos ❤ just try not to get lost in people's opinions because your original method is the whole reason why you have many people loving your videos 💯💯 it's the reason why 2much hair is where it's at today ☺ sometimes people change their whole style up listening at so many people and it ruins the whole experience ! You make great videos. I love all of them, I haven't seen you do anything less than great at this point
I AGREE. PRE-SURGERY MY HAIR WAS LIKE THIS (SUPER THICK, LONG AND CURLY) AND MY DANDRUFF WAS SO BAD (I WAS TOLD BECAUSE I HAD SO MUCH HAIR THAT MY SCALP COULDN'T BREATH). POST-SURGERY (20 YEARS AGO) HALF MY HAIR FELL OUT AND MY HAIR HAS NEVER BEEN THE SAME, BUT I DON'T HAVE THE BAD DANDRUFF ANY MORE EITHER.
Because scalp issues like this--dermatitis and such is over-production of sebum and skin cells. Sebum is the natural oils for your hair--- the thicker, the better quality that the sebum is and the more nourishing that it is for hair strands. However, it is imperative to regularly exfoliate your scalp if you have scalp conditions like this because the build-up is not good for your scalp and can cause hair fall. It's good to exfoliate like she is doing and to use salicylic acid/sulfur/tea tree shampoos to get rid of the excess oil and clear the pores on the scalp. Sometimes a "good thing" can be too good.
The fans need to realize that you are being paid to clean and style the hair so your time to scratch is limited. You are trying to liberate the scalp from flakes as quickly as possible so you can proceed with other treatments.
Thank you for the video! It was nice for you to take the viewer's comments/ suggestions into account. I know you are a professional cosmetologist and not a professional scalp scratcher. LOL! You actually entertain our quirky, OCD opinions when you do not have to. I would love to travel back to Nashville just so I can book an appointment with you to experience your services. You are excellent!!!!
I appreciate you listening to your subscribers but you do just great already. You are one of... if not thee best! You scratch with a passion and a purpose. Also... Do people not realize they can change the speed and even loops in the settings? 🤷🏾♀️
Love the downward scratch. I'd suggest doing what you feel comfortable doing. We all wouldn't be here if you technique was something to complain about. Also the dry scratch is EVERYTHING
Loved this video. While it is great that you are taking into consideration of what the viewers want to see, I think you’re an expert and are doing fine however you do it. I would’ve never had the patience to do all that.
There are lots of ladies with skin issues that effect the way their hair grows glad to see someone like you doing something to help them and it's sooooooooooooo satisfying to watch you got the pimple poppers beat 💜
LOVED the video!! I did enjoy this scratch session a little more BUT I understand that combing the flakes thru long hair can not only be difficult but time consuming as well. Good luck to the young lady on her new journey!!
I have this same condition. Seborrhea dermatitis. I’ve tried everything from creams, steroid shampoos but the only thing that helped me and I no longer experience these symptoms is that I ate less sugar. Drink more water and I lost some weight. Yeast is the culprit
I love watching your videos. Thanks for many great advice. I was thinking that if a client came in with braids then as you release the braid you can scratch that one row. That way you don't miss any spots. Watching you scratch Chris gave me that idea. Now I am not blessed with the kind of hair you deal with but adore watching you care for all your clients. I watched how you created the curls and as difficult as I thought it was, I realized it was extraordinarily easy. You rock beautiful lady!!!
I really wish I lived anywhere near you! I don’t have it quite this much, but I can’t get my arms back pastmy crown. I have an auto immune disease that’s preventing me from even brushing my hair some days because my shoulders are so swollen and painful. But anyhoo, the fact that you do this for people is a beautiful thing. It’s important to be able to exfoliate the scalp every day to keep the build up to a minimum. My mom was a hairdresser for around 50 years, and she gave me a great brush that helps with it. But it’s easy to exfoliate my hair because it’s really thin, and fine. I can’t even imagine how great this feels!
I love this! I really, really miss the wet scratches though because when you soften it all up you see SO much more come off the scalp and it looks cleaner afterward. So satisfying
No don't scratch down do it your way that you do all the time you are the best you have patience with your clients that a good thing you are number ONE THEY CANT TOUCH YOU FOR SURE that why they try to get you off RU-vid but god turn it around you still here you are a very professional at what you do and you don't let small talk take you down keep the good work up my friend
I prefer this method. It kept you honest. You scratched the length of the parts and your parts were appropriate size, not too big. You didn’t go through, as if you were rushed. However, whether you scratch bottom to top, top to bottom of the part, it should just be contingent on the dandruff and the best way to get it up. Keep this process, though 👌🏽
I like the little comb. I would imagine that she, as a professional, chooses the appropriate tool for the specific client. I choose to think of it as kismet when my preferences match up to what the client needs. BTW love the new music especially for the less talkative clients we can hear the scratch and the music. It's a good balance.
@@kristenedel6075 Yeah, okay, all that's nice and all, but the little comb is inefficient and does a worse job when it comes to getting at the flakes, IMO.
You would LOVE my scalp! I had a chunk of skin come off the back of my neck in one piece that was about 3” long and 1” high. I couldn’t see it while I was combing back there so I was SHOCKED when I saw what was there. I have horrible scalp psoriasis but moments like that sure are fun!
Thanks for this Monday morning surprise , I really enjoyed this scratch it was so relaxing that I nodded off twice, so now I get the pleasure 3 watching it again, good job, thanks
Question. When someone has their hair in braids or another protective style for months without washing it or being able to normally shed the skin, are the flakes really a skin condition, or is it just the normal cell turnover mixed with hair product build up?
A more Thoreau scratch I love how you're partying thin to the next row the next row and it doesn't look like you're scratching to show us the flakes it looks like you're scratching more to get the flakes up great job
I scratch my dudes dandruff and he has locs. Any advice to keep his locs from thinning? And I suggested downward scratching. I love it. Thanks for considering. Of course do as you please. I'm a big fan.
