Not sure how your channel popped up on my UT but it did. Suscribed. My bro use to be a wielder for oil plants in Lousiana. One day I will do Quartzsite. Lake Fishin B
DANG! DANG! DANG! We are running late, getting down there. I broke my wrist, and had to have surgery on it. Hoping to get out of here by thanksgiving. PNW has a lineup of Atmospheric Rivers, heading this way, and I need to get out. Hope to see ya out there.
Was in Quartzsite in 2019-2020 in my Class C motor home. Stayed at Dome Rock and other boondocking spots. Stayed at Laposa North too I think with the dump station and water? two weeks cost me $40.00. Well, hope your writing goes well while there. I just happened on to your channel and thought I'd say a few words. Later enjoy your visit.
I stopped at the LTVA's in Quartzite about a couple of weeks ago. The government doesn't have the 7 month permits yet. Driving through the LTVA's I did notice that many areas were marked off by rocks meaning that yearly returning campers were claiming their spots on public land. I am a newbie to boondocking on BLM land and I did not think this is fare. The BLM host did not think so also and said the sites are a first come first serve basis. I would not want to pick out a site to camp on and three weeks later have someone tell me that it is their site and I have to move! If you get to the site early every year like you are doing, fine. But drawing boundaries around the sites on BLM land using stones, is not right.
Welcome to Long Term Camping life. The BLM LTVA fall/winter season starts September 15 and ends April 15. The permits are late this year due to contract squabbling, it happens. Camping is the same as ever. Pick a spot and wait until the permits are available. That gives you the availability to stay at the 4 campgrounds near Quartzsite and also down by Yuma and Imperial Dam. The marked sites mean nothing. The areas are first come and first served. If my little spot is occupied if I show up late, I simply find somewhere else to camp. There is no fair or unfair happening and you can move the rocks however you chose. Permits are coming out by October 15 and the trash cans are all in place. Come on out and do not worry about rocks. The camp hosts and Rangers are on your side to make this a pleasant experience.
Couldn't have said it better myself. My "normal spot" looks like it was someone's normal spot before me. I found it two winters ago on Christmas day and haven't even had anyone come by to say they miss being there.
The permits came out the last Friday. Come on out to the LTVA all the way down to Imperial Dam, move the rocks around anyway you want. You are always welcome on the LTVA
I have to hand it to you. And great how you take an Old TT and get it out there again. Now sadly that generator you are using is not an Inverted Gen.. Meaning super Loud and annoying to your nieghbors and worse not Sine-wave which is good energy for your appliances/ tech devices. Yet still appreciate the vid.
Interesting complaints... you have not seen my videos about how I charge my batteries with solar (and use an Inverter to charge my electronics.) I am not running my generator in this video. I rarely run a generator and I have a video about that also. In this video, the evening clip with the generator noise, that is a neighbor with a Honda clone. People can make noise out here from 7AM until 10PM. Play your music, run your generator, sing and howl, the dogs can bark, drive your motorcycles and quads.
@@WadeQuick I understands been out there back in 2019. If you were my neighbor and were running that Gen... I bust your balls! But I did run my inverted gen. A Champion 2200, you could barley hear it.
Sorry you are having that problem. I hope you received a refund or replacement panel. I always get great service from Renogy products and help from the technicians.
