I've been watching these exit interviews for so long and don't understand why they're all so happy, honestly I'd be pissed if they voted me out and certainly wouldn't be hugging everybody before I leave the house. We need more of them to show who they really are and just be them self. They lost the game, just walk out. Yes, it happened in past seasons by some, but would love to see it more!
Some of them are bitter about it but some people are chill. When this one was done it was after he had more time to process his exit. The initial one done on Thursday was more raw but even then he didn't blow up or anything.
You will have to read live feed reports. Despite the golden, whitewashed edit that he got, the house absolutely hated him. He was arrogant and condescending toward a lot of the other houseguests. And the houseguests, despite Angela's craziness, sided with her over him in their fight. And he actually did a very poor job at avoiding getting backdoored. He completely flubbed a talk that he had with Angela, who gave him a fair chance to avoid being the replacement nominee. They honestly apologized to each other, but then, Angela tried to get Matt to agree to not put her up if he ever became HoH. He gave a lot of agreements, but not to that one crucial thing. So she nominated him in Lisa's place.
What a smart young man! He is an honorable young man! Very refreshing to hear a young person speak about Love being what we should all lead with! We are always going to have differences of opinion, but, let it start a discussion, not a war!
I loved how he handled the political questions.Very nice.Angela had to call him crazy eyes again. He had enough class to not call her any personal names, because I am sure he could have a lot to say.Good job Matt.Classy guy.
What an upstanding man! His family should be very proud! Even when he was treated like crap, he chose love and forgiveness. For someone his age, he has a lot of wisdom! That took me a lot longer to learn… by asking for forgiveness (in even he did something wrong) choosing to forgiving Angela, even though she didn’t ask for forgiveness, he has freed himself of any control she might have on his emotions. His actions seem very Christ like. Has he mentioned his faith? Is he a Christian? What is his profession? Julie usually asks those questions. But perhaps it’s on a different interview..
pretty sure they do that and sometimes they purposely allow those who fail evaluations through because they hope it will stir drama for views. It is a show after all
Dude is internalizing the reality thay he is the first boot of Big Brother but Julie is interested with what he thinks about Trump's assasination.... 😅😅😅
@@eliasmg9144 poor guy was just voted out first and Julie was like "President Trump Almost Got Assassinated"... like imagine being him and have to sit through the whole thing.
Oh, man. I wanted this guy out so bad. Now that he is, I see that he's super nice and wish he was still in the house. Matt for returnee season! Matt for Survivor!
He’s such a nice, gorgeous guy but i don’t know if i can handle all of the preachy Jesus pastor stuff on tv again. His best past forward is probably to start a dirty OF. I promise to keep up with him there ❤
LOL zero chance. Their might be 1 return season even left before this show is toast and first boots don't return unless you are an All Star like David. lol
Played too slow? He would never gotten on Angela's bad side if he didn't tell everyone in the house that the HOH is playing too hard and you want her out.
How they read him wrong ? He did said to Angela if he was put on the block he was safe, you don’t tell the HOH that kind of stuff no matter how unhinged the HOH was He also throw T’kor and Tucker as “pawns” to Angela, when neither of those two were aware. Then Tucker found out and then was another reason to evict him
@@arievfrank8370 I agree. Angela the paranoid deluded karen Angela, was the only one that "read him wrong" accusing his actions and character in a way that didn't even align to what happened. Name calling and disrespecting his mother, pulling in outside ppl into their drama. Angela was the only one who read him wrong everyone else was just playing the game how it was meant to be played.
@@ohitsjustme.890 why people want Matt to be a victim so bad ? Like there’s a bunch of houseguests that were treated worse than him but never saw this reaction. Even with Taylor Hale who was put through hell in season 24, Kemi from 21, Dominique from 19 and even Amber from 16 with Caleb obsessing over her had more awful experiences but I’ve never seen people wanted to victimize a houseguest so much as Matt
I thought his interview went great. The things he said about the news she told him was very respectful to both parties. He had a good message.i thought Angela was going to be fun to watch this summer, but i think shes been pretty harsh and difficult to get along with.God bless
Potential hot take, but if angela is going far in the game, there's a very high chance that she becomes the new Paul Abrahamian of this season: A bully chosen by production who won't win because they'll lose the respect of every houseguest and also because fundamentally they don't understand how this game works. She's also probably going to be the Achilles heel of this season
I love that he didn't fully commit to either "side" politically when he was told all the news that has happened since he's been in there. I loved how he stood against the hate for ANY human being. You could tell he was secretly fine with the attempt on Trump, he looked genuinely shocked and upset that someone would do that to anyone.
while i believe Matt is being authentic as he knows it to be. Yet, there's something about it that doesn't ring true. I think it's when we're so embedded in our religious beliefs we haven't allowed ourselves to feel everything
So many stories cut short. No telling how he could have played further into the game, but that's part of it! Love this game and this season is going crazy already
I wanted Matt out but not completely bullied. Dam Angela all you had to do was shut up. All over a hug. You knew what the game was when you signed up for it but took it personally all in the first week 😂
He’s the type that laughs and smiles before breaking down 20 mins later. He did this after Angela’s bit attack on him as well. He pretended like it was nothing, even funny. He was balling in the bathroom an hour later.
Hes not very good at BB. And I dont really dig his personality. But wtf was with angela?? Crazy eyes?? Why say that? And like he threatened her only within the game, not personally. If someone puts you up, you're probably gonna go for them. And that was the threat, which makes sense in the game. Watching Angela spiral was something else.
Agreed lol. His goose was cooked early because of how much he was talking... If he had slowed his roll he would have easily survived this week. All he had to do was not react like a crazy person to a true crazy person in Angela (never threaten the HOH). I know he did NOT come at her super aggressively like she claims but still he did threaten her and that was an amateur mistake. Oh and it wouldn't have hurt to read the room and give people hugs when everyone else is getting a hug. Apparently Angela took that way too personally. She even came for Joseph for not giving her attention one time last week so she is just irrational but she had power so you adapt to those type of people if your game can be in jeopardy.
Still fun to see reactions as to what's happened in the outside world. It's been a part of the show forever, from Janelle asking in her phone call if Britney Spears had her baby, or when the OTT houseguests were told about the result of the 2016 election. Matt's probably not the best person to get the reaction from, because it's very clear he's putting on a front for the cameras. We won't get much genuine thoughts from him.
I love how everyone keeps saying “I had to vote with the house but I tried to save you.” 😂 if all of them voted the other way there is no house. Who is the house?
She’s always done it, she can’t tell jury anything but she can tell prejurors abt anything they want to know. They’ve been sequestered since the 1st week of July so it makes sense as to why she will be doing this.
@@TheRomaniBanks I understand that she can talk about anything with pre jury. I understand they are sequestered before the show starts. I’ve been watching this show for years. What I’m saying is it’s rare to discuss current events with them. She usually sticks to gameplay and twists within the game.
@@SarahLo-jq4mi It's because those two events are VERY important. Former presidents/current candidates don't usually get shot at. And current presidents also don't usually decline to run again (especially with only 4 months left til the election). I don't see an issue with it this extended interview was good.
I have no access to last night's episode but I do know Tucker gets evicted and I agree with what someone else said I would be so pissed and I wouldn't have hugged any of them tired all this hugging Kumbaya b*******😅
What bad game play? So he “threatened” Angela. It was NOT a physical threat, only a part of the game. “If you put me on the block, I’ll put you up next week.” It’s a game, nothing horribly threatening about the statement.
@@jamesdennis2058they don’t show these in the episodes but he: - told people he was targeting the current HOH BEFORE nominations - outed a bunch of his final twos and threes to people he was not aligned with - extremely paranoid - voiced his paranoid thoughts to people he was not aligned with - talked a lot and rubbed people the wrong way - made a huge alliance of people without making sure they were aligned with him - made an “alliance” with Leah and makensy but did a really bad job hiding it there’s a lot they don’t show on the episodes, such as a lisa vs Angela fight that happened
@@tacothealien9805 I don’t have time watch the feeds. I can only go on what I see in the episodes. Matt must have received a better edit than he deserved.
There's girl he likes in the BB house and single(right now and taking his word at face-value). It makes sense he wanted a showmance no matter how annoying it is to viewers lol.
@@brettlarkin1992 but he was in the house for only couple of days. Get settle down and a read on the house first. Isn’t a chance for $750k worth more than a fling? He can get a girl anytime he wants outside the house.
Omg, he’s trying to say that hate can’t run our lives and apply that to big brother. Love is not what wins 3/4 of a million dollars. It’s a game, not real life.
1st one gone, never remembered again. It's a game, Angela playes it well. Finally someone targeted a real potential threat and didn't use the "It's too soon " excuse. Weird how you know someone for a week and they are your best friend of all time or fall in love. Matt just came to chill for the sumner, like that cow, Jasmine did last summer.
He threatened Angela when she apologized to him. He told her what his next move would have been. Big mouth! He wasn't on her radar until then. The house tends to follow the HOH, as nuts as she is.
