Getting in touch with Mother Nature for Len's 51st birthday with the whole family and Lolo Boy. Back and forth, it was a 10-km hike. We had sufficient food (bananas, mixed nuts and protein bars) but our water supply fell short. Thankfully there were vendors at Station 11. :) We feel blessed to have seen the famous Rafflesia in bloom.
Tips for everyone planning to try the hike: early start, get enough sleep, bring lots of water, enjoy the view, enjoy family experience -- :)
