I took it on a 1000 mile trip and I do admit they bounce a bit around 75+ mph I suggest the tri-pod methode. However I will not do it to my Black Sheep. I will wait until I get a permanent tow rig and swap them out.
It's the factory pipe, just flipped the other direction, I suggest using tripods off other mirrors or make some, mine vibrated bad, couldn't see out of them sometimes, I ended up going back to stock after moving to Wyoming.
They have to be made with the old electric mirrors from a truck that had them. He can probably get a welder/fabricator to modify them; just show them this video. Thanks for watching.
@@TheBlueCollarPreacher did you ever get the chance to build that bracket to fit the new gen tow mirrors to the 1st gen? Id love to purchase a set or build my own for my 92 ram
@@KevinFlores-rc1lq No I went back to stock, I don't want to drill holes in my doors. I can make a video on how to make them for you. Thanks for watching 😊
@@TheBlueCollarPreacher yeah if you could I'd love to see it. I have the regular manual tow mirrors that bolt in 4 locations on the door. If it's possible to make a mirror mount for the newer style tow mirrors that bolts in the stock location for the standard non tow mirrors I'd make them and install them. I seen other people Fab up a plate and weld it to the vent windows but I personally don't like that idea. If it looks like it could have came from the factory that's what I'd like to do. I like the idea of building a old truck with some modern concepts.
