the 1st round's video was in zeez's video as well, and ngl it's just messed up they didnt restart the round. the time he lagged out it was less than a minute in to the game
I mean, they didn't restart the round when Bonbon lagged last year, turning a 3k into a 1k, so ig it is just fair that they don't restart the round when survivors are the ones lagging. But still, it just shows how bad their servers are, EVEN when it comes to official tournaments.
@@MeltedSnowySummer the bonbon and this round is different, if a survivor is having issues with lag, etc. And it's been less than 60 seconds to the match, they are supposed to redo
@@MeltedSnowySummer no, that's just being salty. Surv hater. They have a point that the beginning of the match is different than if it's mid to end match. If you drop your bias for a second, you'll see the logic.
You missed Novelist's play before he lagged! It was absolutely heartbreaking to see the match didn't get restarted bc they were prepared to counter the Mad Eyes play
When I heard there was a mad eyes match that ate I didn’t expect it to go this way. Despite Dream being 1st mad eyes now I can’t help but feel that he got carried by the lag from novelist 🙁
1:15 I mean, they have their own servers for tournaments, so it looks more like novelist decided to pretend like he’s lagging. I understand that he might be innocent, but the fact of these tactics existing makes the restart declining decisions understandable
it sucks but i understand why they didnt restart the match. early game is super important and if players could conveniently "lag out" whenever having a bad starting kiting area, unlucky rotation, or some other reason it would be super easy to abuse the system. i know thats not what the survivor's intentions were here, but im just saying that if the tournament allowed restarts from connection issues like this then it would be very exploitable
7:12 yet my mad eyes replays i send out get the most watchers, perhaps people really, really try to understand lol but ye, would've been nicer if it wasn't tainted by connection issues, red church is probably? his best map in rotation and i really wanted to see how that'd go without starting with a free down
Oh, your brain is fried from trying to comentate? Now imagine that but your brain has melted, that's what it feels like to play Mad Eyes. So the reason he didn't go for Novelist is because the fences take 40 seconds to disappear, so he doesn't have to worry about novelist for nearly a minute. He can naturally extend this time by placing new fences.
It is so utterly embarrassing that such a huge game has ping issues during COA qualifiers. I get why they didnt restart it because of knowing where he may place his traps and what they wouldve done differently in early game rotation or maybe mad eyes going fir a complezely different approach bc he knew the rotations already
