Price played a part plus the adjustability of the kelltracs compared to the ridetech shocks If I do another truck I’d do RT with the kelltrac shocks

jersey is where I took my 01 lightning back in the day. (June 2003) It was in freehold. Little shop called JDM. Hooked me up with about every bolt on they had to offer. It was running consistent high 12's low 13s on the quarter mile on street tires. Not bad back then. The smaller pulley and single blade throttle body where the main HP adders. And of course a full exhaust and with a CAI. Miss my old trucks.

JDM built my 2003 Lightnin a couple years ago. SVO shortblock, trickflow heads and a 3.4 Whipple with a 2400 stall..That thing is a monster.

I've been looking at single cabs for a few months now but just can't bring myself to buy it because the price seems inflated now and hard to figure out if I will actually be able to use it enough with it being so small. I want the weight savings of the single cab and the look over the quad but stuck. Anyone else had this issue?

Love the sound! Duals or 3inch single? You put longtubes on or still stock manifolds? I think it sits perfect.. wouldnt lower it any further. My 23' has the 2nd air damn that had an electric motor operated to drop down at 45mph I think, somewhere around there

Only way to get the gen4 on the same level is by working on it not avoiding it same when the gen3 vs gen1&2 used to be

@@BoostedF150 where i dont disagree to that, we both know the tuning issues on these that the average man will never be able to crack. We all have to wait for these partial tunes to become full tunes through reputable tuner companies. As far as performance gains go i dont see much improvement on the gen 4's. Biggest improvement on any generation was gen 3 plus thanks to DI and PI.

@@07slowbalt Yeah the issue is for '24 Ford redid the encryption and locked the ecu even further. 21s+ were already a pain in the ass initially and took about a year or so even after some tuning was able to get done to be able to start to really dial, the 18-20 trucks were so stupid easy to tune n/a or FI. Some in the industry that said the 24's may be a long time before tuning is able to get done, some 23s even had to have the PCM swapped? Still have my '19 Platinum 5.0 on palm beach 93 tune.
