Used a black luffy leader today at my very first tournament…. Still getting the hang of it having never played any TCG. Lost miserably but opened some packs and got a kuzan! Super excited to try it out next week!
Very interesting deck and I'm now planning to build this! May I suggest, after each deck profile video, include a snapshot of everything, I mean place all you cards down. I ended up screenshotting (is there even a term like this lol) everything. You can even use this as your video snapshot 😉

Just got the st 8 starter deck as my first one piece tcg purchase it was at Walmart and I really want to get into the game gonna use this build in the future as I get more cards in my collection..

Ran Black Luffy at my locals and did very well to my surprise 3-1. That Kuzan Shanks combo destroys most mid-range decks and if I wanted to be mean, I can drop double kuzan then shanks to deny them a board. Of course, it helps that there is not a lot of black decks running around at the moment.
I’m using this deck with some small adjustments 😅 will let you know outcome . Also you should record your matches I like watching people play to learn how to counter decks 🫡 other than that this deck is 8/10 love that I’m not the only one who use luffy leader black 👊🏼 gumagum fist bump

Im new to thos TCG gaming. Can someone explain to me about this -2/-3 card that i give to my opponent i dont understand it at all. Does it destroy that card or juat gives it a -2cost to the opponent? Im confused by it

Black is all about KO of your opponents characters. Giving the cost of an opponents character -2 allows you to get that character in range for certain cards to KO. For example Sakazuki can KO a 5 cost character or less. If your opponent has a 7 cost character. You can use the card that -2 from that character to now be able to KO it with Sakazuki. Hope this helps
Atleast she has a 1K counter. Right now i run smoker with 4 borcelino 4 fukurou and 2 donquixote. I tried the hina’s but most of the time id rather a cheap blocker to allow more aggressive plays, i cant play sakazuki and hina same turn. Hina and donquixote both die to thunderbolt or similar effects anyway so i think the cheaper the better. Another thing is vv cant be found with brannew in a pinch,. and although the trigger is tempting, if im not running 4 it seems pretty inconsistent.
That makes no sense, the trigger is what makes it fast and out of no where for a blocker that will also die and pump luffy.... You're that big mama yellow player he was talking about arnt you lol
Garp would also be good yes. I have run him in the past with Smoker. I'm looking at testing out different adjustments to the deck as well. Testing Garp is one of them.
I feel like 2k counter garp is always more relevant than 2k counter tashigi. Some games, vs big mom, red, i will actually play garp to start murdering. But i guess he is better with smoker.
added 3k garp, ice age and 5k garp and some more 2k counters. The KO ability from garp is great for controlling early game and benefits Luffy a lot@@fhjunior6183
So far ive noticed this game is pretty straight forward. My only complaint is they took vanguard mechanics and made a slower version of it. Kinda boring game
Most of the cards came from Starter Deck 6 and 8. Then I bought from singles which cost about 119$. So yeah it is not a cheap deck. I would say between $100 to $150.
I've never used him to reduce my own character cost. Only opponents. If I misspoke in the video I apologize but I use Kuzan and Issho together to reduce cost of opponents characters before summoning big with Shanks to kill all 1 to 0 cost characters. It's a few turns of build up.
Nice deck I play the same but just shockwave, no vivi have Sabo in at 2 kaku 3 and 2 smoker double attack got 3rd at a tournament last week deck is fun
