This is a good one. 1 HOUR OF BRANDED DESPIA COMBO'S & TEST HANDS EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BRANDED My updated Branded Despia Deck Profile recently got 1st Place at our local tournament at dragon snack games and I top 4'd and got my nats invite with this deck at Millenium Game's OTS Championship!
Thisll be a combo guide and test hand video for the Post Valiant Smashers format but it's gonna be applicable to branded across most scenarios and formats.
Branded is one of the best meta calls right now in my opinion, with the deck not being on many peoples radar and it having a great matchup against every deck in the meta, lots of options to deal wth RESCUE-ACE, Purrely, Tearlaments and the rest..

wanna point out that if the imperm doesn't negate the monster, it doesn't turn off the column so in the first example, you wouldn't have to worry about imperm column assuming u dodge it with cartesia fuse

At 1:00:16 you can maybe send the second cartesia to the grave over lube and then banish it off albion for sanc if you're only playing 1 quem. Cartesia can fuse with albion to put it in grave. During the end phase cartesia adds back to hand first then lulu can summon the cartesia from hand. You won't have space for the fusion deployment albaz play tho since u end up keeping both quem and aluber instead of the lubellion along with ggg sanc maximus and cartesia so I'm not sure how much better this would be. Your line is probably better for 2 quem lists though. I'd personally love to see more of these test hands if you ever get the time and feel like doing more, these were very helpful.

First hand you can Cart with Aluber to get him in grave to turn on Branded in Red. You can send Albion to grave with Lubellion.

At 12:25 I feel like you should Of gotten branded opening pitch the super poly get quem then quem dump cart and EP set branded in red so then next turn you can mirrorjade banish a monster quem trigger then summon cart then you can cart use aluber and cart to make grannygoogle and pitch shrouded so you can use rinnbrum to summon back and then use the cart to make a albaz fusion then after you use the shrouded to make a albaz fusion you can use branded in red to make like a Albion to make a drago steplia or something of that sort, and also during all that you can add merc while doing all those disruptions

do you think thrust is a must. I’ve been using the deck with 2 ash 2 droll 3 imperm, 1 TTT, 3 super poly and 3 nadir

I don't think it's a must I think it's the best option but you can easily run triple tactics talents or crossout to supplement that. Your build seems fine.

Hey man, just got into Branded and I have been loving your videos! I’m really glad you showed how to gimmick puppet lock without Bucephalus because I was tripping lmao. Had a quick question, do you think it is ok to run 3 cross outs and like 2 ash and drolls or something instead of the Nadir servant? Thank you, love the content!

Appreciate the support!! That means the world to me. I think crossouts are definitely ok over nadir servant. You wouldn't have to run brick maximus that way. I just prefer how nuch nadir does but I think crossout with that package is perfectly fine. Good luck!

I’m happy that your into branded and want to show off the deck but I really think you are maybe worried about being on camera or something but the deck at base is simple you gotta stop thinking about doing crazy stuff and just go with the basics

Do you have any specific scenarios where I do too much? I feel like if anything I'm playing into Nib in one or two of the hands but for the most part I like getting the most out of my hands while playing around Nib and hand traps. I appreciate the comment

@@MetaGamesGX the first hand other than else cart with Albion to make dusk dragon. Use aluber so you have his graveyard effect on the opponents turn and makes branded in red live. You can still get Albion in grave with bystial Albion. You also played it as it was turn 2 having 6 cards but put everything in def and attempted gimmic when you could possibly win that turn.

opening at 50s seems bad lol, you'd play Branded Opening in the Draw Phase which avoids response entirely.

But then you risk getting Imperm without Cartesia to dodge. Chances are, they not gonna Ash or negate Opening, more likely save for B.Fusion. The only card you have to worry about is Droll but you could just summon Aluber and only on adding Fusion or Lost would you need to be concern about Droll.
