Yo Bryce, congrats on winning it all! I was the DM/Belphe player. Ended up at 5-2-2, but was still a fun day regardless. GGs again and wishing the best!
@@mbbtcg4833 I like the aggro better, putting pressure with pail and then doing it again that's to DM is crazy! Did you struggle at all with your Magna matchups?
@@TheMessiahTCG a bit but not really because magna. Vee armor is favored as long as I’m seeing pieces, vaccine can be tough because it’s easier to reproc magna and they have pillo, but there are ways around them since they at least give you time in a normal game.
@@DigiTamerJoel one game earlier I had baited my opponent Nume opponent onto 2 valk aces and giga death’d for cash money. Then used the memory to set up like 3 tamers
Hey man, great job with two things. Firstly winning the regional- imperial is a great choice, skunks nume and has plenty of game into basically everything else. But SECONDLY! Posting a deck tech video where you have the whole list in front of you the whole time. I hate when people lay out each card on webcam so much. Big ups. List is pretty similar to mine although I was not on the HPD+Old Dragon Mode, saw it literally win you the finals though so seems pretty disgusting.
@@DashiellPashley realistically seeing the giga death won me the finals, but having dragon mode + HPD is super powerful, especially when you churn through your deck. If I’m playing a more controlling variant without old DM, I wouldn’t run HPD at all. Which might be the move once we get the 2 cost option
@@mbbtcg4833 Yeah I was on 3 giga death, when I saw you were on 1 I was like oh wow he drew his out lmao. It was a bit of a rough game for the Tyrant player too who didn't find the Granku to delete your dual tamer- but hey he was also only on 2 granku which I felt was a bit of an odd choice. Yeah thinking about how promo vee and sting can just open like 15 cards for you makes running 2 card combos make way more sense.
@@DashiellPashley the next build will probably be on 2 giga death somehow. I was playing a lot of control playstyle before, but wasn’t quite working so I had mixed it up for this event.
I feel that, it just always felt awkward to me. Recently some player got 11th with a more defensive imperial list that ran magna X, that is an idea i als had been cooking with.
Congrats again. I enjoyed watching you on stream. I’m excited to see you at nationals again this year al though I think this year I’m going to win our top 32 rematch =P
Yo, nice decklist there, congrats for winning. May I ask what's your game plan against nume? Also, what do you aim for when it's been 3 turns and you can't dna a paildra yet?
Plan against Nume is try to survive until I can set up. It’s hard, but they don’t god hand you every day. If you dont find pail, keep looking, keep setting up, generally be sad until I hit my paildramon
Not super intricate, you basically just swing with your pail, make more guys with old DM, make another pail, swing more. It’s really about looking at your hand and judging how many swings you have and thinking if anything they do in terms of aces, blockers or security will mess you up.
Congratulations Bryce! How do you play the Mirage match up? I find that match up miserable cause this deck inherently needs to do so much searching and drawing to find pieces, so I find myself with large hands or just shut out of the game if they go into BT11 Mirage early.
The draws are hard, but you basically try to lock their suspension effects with pail and have a DM up so they can’t use training. This particular build is worse in that matchup I think, the more controlling variant with more new DM mode tends to be better
