On 1st Test Day 4, Sri Lanka resumed their batting at the Galle International Stadium. Sri Lanka went on to make 309 runs before getting all out. Later, New Zealand came onto bat and posted 207 runs in 68 overs but lost 8 wickets in the process. New Zealand now needs 68 runs on the fifth and final day whereas Sri Lanka needs 2 wickets to win the match.
