1st Time Reaction! Band Maid - Rinne 

Love everything about this song and how they deliver it. I come back to this video so often. So much so that even when I just listen to the track itself I hear it in 8mm Black & White with burn holes. 🤩

"Rinne" = "Reincarnation". The MV was shot on old 8mm film stock (with added effects) in honour of the Japanese horror film of the same name. In the film a serial killer films the dying moments of his victims on 8mm film believing he can capture the soul leaving the body. It's a favourite film of Saiki. The interesting ending lyrics are MIku`s answer to people saying BAND-MAID was getting to poppy , Its sink or swim Shut Up , another words its our music we will Sink or Swim with it so Shut Up .

Not VHS. The reason it was shot on 8mm film is because the Japanese Horror Movie of the same name used a lot of 8mm film in it. You can rent it on RU-vid.

This band is very eclectic and uses a wide spectrum of rock (hard-rock, prog-rock, punk-rock...) and other genres of music. It's a great idea to listen to the Conqueror album from which Rinne is taken because you will understand what I meant previously. You will probably be surprised. Thank you and see you soon.

I think Miku uses English for the sound of the words at certain times. English is more naturally legato I think. So maybe you're right. The more percussive onset of syllables in Japanese help the wordy parts hit harder.

I suggest the song Toi et Moi from the new album.
