Rusty 5 the starting weapons are the best weapons in the game. Don’t buy any weapons until you upgrade your character first. Starting weapons are the best weapons.
I haven't played PS2 in years. I wanna get back into it now. This was the most insane thing I've ever seen in this game, and I've been in a 3 day firefight.
Were you in the battle for Ti Alloys of 2018? Three days and three nights. In the end a combined TR NC MAX crash defeated the VS defenders. I think the NC won againts the TR after we were defeated.
Never in any other game would you hear of a firefight going on for 3 days, especially not on different servers on different occasions This game is freakin epic
this is why bastions should have been added as part of the air alert instead of summonable vehicles. free aircraft for everyone, destroy enemy bastions before they destroy yours, fun event! instead in the actual game they just hover over TI alloys with a thousand player killstreak.

the fact that i have actual war stories of campaigns across maps that took several days is proof that this game is totally worth it. especially now that THESE things have arrived.
Crown was the best part in beta, I remember when I played for the first time and was greeted with Magriders forming a literal artillery line and shelling the Crown from across the canyon. It looked like battle of Verdun.
I remember sitting behind cover in the crown unable to see because of the flashes and screen shake and just waiting for the inevitable foot zerg I felt real small at the time lol
Even this long away I still feel the sting of coming against 1TR and VCO as the 22BT. The TR bullet hoses gunning folks down, VCO competing to outdo us. (as the did often)
@@Mystickrage Brah, we are an infantry-focused platoon outfit with a casual air squad while 1TR/AODR is attacking us with 3 platoons. The salt is real there.
My clan, 777th wardens just did this air battle with our bastion. There was like hundreds of players against 177 of us. The battle lasted like 2 to 3 hrs.
This is one of the reasons it is my favourite game ever, the way battles are builded naturally and realistic is the esence of this game, so sad its underrated
Now this is what I would like to see when I play Planetside. Last time I had a war in planetside, We had a biker gang, except the bikes are buggies and the gang are a shite load of such buggies Imagine being Ground crew and just seeing tons of destroyed aircraft dropping from the sky
I've only just started playing a couple of weeks ago and the game is absolute chaos and I love it, I've been on the receiving end of those things several times now and I hate them, but I have to admit trying hard to get kills while avoiding certain death from above is making my day a little better with all my deaths while I try and learn the game better.
Oh it's punishing when you first start. Even taking a few weeks to a month off, you have to retrain yourself for PS2. As soon as you start taking fire, COVER!! It's unforgiving but in a good way...you really need to get rid of that 1 player Rambo mentality. (there are a few people like that, but they are really good an have so many hours banked.)
my last time playing was 2014, finally i can play decently. Amazing that this game is better than many others AAA games from actual times.. and FOR FREE!
This game still is ahead of its time with just 24/7 raw war. It’s not like other games where you play there for about an hour in 60 vs 60 like battlefield. It’s thousands of people fighting all the time.

@@mimixis Reavers are never a good thing to spec into they have crap for damage and they handle like crap. Plus there is usually dedicated TR air balls that make runs like Fedex that shoot you down faster than it takes to pull one besides you win the battles on the ground. Just watch TR will be running bastions while NC will be speced heavily into the new mega tanks while VS complains how crappy their loadouts are
@@mammyaondiciple3570 Agreed, after the Rotary got nerfed the Reaver is a piece of trash. It's the slowest ESF, it's got the biggest hit box (which compounds the prior problem). They have the best after burners, but that doesn't mean anything in dog fights, after burners are for chasing prey and Reavers are always the prey. The meta for years has been ground pounding mosquito's with that chaingun explosive shell nosegun. Right up until the database stopped recording in 2018 that was the single best performing ESF gun and yet it was the NC rotary that got nerfed. Fucking jokes.
Thanks! I would have survived much longer if I didn't drive across our WG. I didn't realize that it will automatically start destroying your BFC weakpoints and lost three of them before getting completely out.
Holy shit that looks epic! Flying skills always eluded me when I played...that's why it's impressive to see people actually do well in the Planetside air game. People that make it look easy..it's not!
i love the republic in this game they are the only group to actually make massive fronts everyone else just circle jerks in the middle of know where and all there fights are like 50 to a 100 but when the republic shows up it starts with 150vs 50 and gets to 300vs 50 in minutes

Yes actually you name a piece of nc equipment, vehicle or aircraft and I've probably been shot by it (usually either from behind or from someone trying to get a medics attention by shooting at them instead of a normal means of communication), run over by it or been crash landed on by it and nc is the only faction I play.
i think the best part is when both teams merge and it devolves into a giant furball of fighters and other ships swinging around and jinking around the bastions.
Dude still to this day every time I play PlanetSide 2 I always tend to stray away from using the airplanes because I just suck ass at flying watching him play makes me realize how long it took him to even get that good at it.

while on NC and on my outfit DGia, we took down 2 bastions while only taking 1 hardpoint of damage, the skyes full of ships is the most epic thing a man can experience in this game, i love it, safe flight and good fights everyone
Great content man.PS2 Has aged well indeed.Maybe i come late with this suggestion,but i think you guys should ajdust aerial formation when engaging bastions.In this clip this is the 10 o clock mossies on left flank,upfront, and gals behind the bastion's cover.Is this on Emerald?
