For all I know these people just borrowed a surface to convey their message, sure with morally dubious reasons and without an permission. But then again there are corporations selling products with a lot more questionable methods. @@GHOSTTOWNGHOUL there are a many people out there that comment murder and other horrible crimes, so me stealing in comparison is not that bad (thats the point you’re making)… “Borrowing”? That’s a bit of a stretch. In both cases of theft and “art” people are doing it purely for personal benefit while causing a big financial burden to the company. No difference. As a matter of fact, stealing is even less harmful to the society, because the stolen money will still be used to buy goods and drive the economy. While this “art” is once again a broken window fallacy.
