Tempted by a drifter that I can daily every now and then and liking the idea of a 1/3UZ (or an M62B44), would definitely consider turboing it after watching this. Maybe a GS430 or an engine swap…. Mine would be less stripped out than this though 🤣 Awesome car 👍

If you’re ganna use it everyday I’d 100% keep some interior in haha I’m going to try get some more bits to make it more comfortable! I couldn’t recommend the uz platform more! So much fun and reliable. Thank you bro haha I appreciate it.

@@Fishter1 yeah they are really good engines and make god power without opening them. Also loads of aftermarket bits available. They are such good cars aye! I love them haha I do want an r32 skyline at some point aswell

400hp is ur safe range on that. Until obd2 came out these uz engines had pretty strong rods. But in 96 and up they changed them to skinnier weaker rods making big numbers a pipe dream for us. We have no choice but to open our engines and rebuild them to make serious power. If you want to run 600 to the wheels then build the motor to handle over 800. That's how u keep them alive.

apparently the a340e can hold like 350-400 torque with a shifft kit. i just bought a ucf10 myself and im alos thinking of going turbo

@@squillager4434 yeah I think there’s loads of options for them, the bmw 530d box is supposed to be really good aswell and a cheaper option. Please do haha it’s the best thing I did! They sound insane as well

To Rev a 1uz to 9000 rpm. You need tons of work done to the head.

Non vvti I’m not 100% sure what year it’s out of I didn’t do the swap but I was told it’s from a ls400. Cheers bro the straight pipe makes it sing!

Cheers bro haha yeah it’s so sick I love it! I’ve heard they are really good turbos I think they are similar to mine, mines running a Borg Warner s366. 410bhp at .6 bar and around 450fp torque I think. You’ll love it once it’s up and running. Why chassis’s have you got it in?

I think the sound is not the reason to not daily. That ride looks uncomfortable AF! No interior insulation. Doubt there’s A/C, let alone power steering. I’d wager solid motor mounts, compiled with aggressive coil overs. My body hurts just watching this lol
