I love how in both 1v1 (almost) limitless dogfights these two have had so far, it's ended up being a good looking, but super fragile fighter vs a shockingly nimble flying fortress.
I feel like if you do a form vs. function fight you gotta set power core limits, whether one total limit or seperate limits for propulsion and weapons.
you should do a juggernaut style battle with scrapman, moonbo, and kAN where you each build a mini plane and a juggernaut plane (for future vids do land and sea crafts)
The form build loses any part of its tail and it's done. The function build needs to collide with its opponent and even then it sometimes survives. Yzuei: I hope you upload this build to the Steam Workshop. It looks like a fun build for modification and tinkering. One of these days I'll have a computer that can play Trailmakers with a decent frame rate, and I have some ideas for adjustments to the weaponry.
I would like to see a 1v1 where you build a creation and then the other person uses that creation. For example yuezi uses scrapmans build and vice versa.
Great video. I think it would have been cool if you guys had had a chance to tweak the others build a little when you swapped. Would have been interesting to see if you could get the form flyer up to speed for fighting the function beast.
I feel like I somehow am able to find the middle ground between looks and function, and the big thing comes down to using blocks that look good and add function to your build. For me, this is mostly the spoiler.
If I ever get trailmakers yubo seen function over form to levels that you not want to see because I don't care what it looks like as long as it doesn't it does if I want to murder things into second I would do that don't care how it looks as long as it can destroy it would destroy so if I ever do be prepared to meet Gun
idea: you face off in a vehicle using at least 1 of each part in the entire game, including all cosmetic parts you have access to, functional pieces such as wheels has to actually utilize their function as a wheel. idea 2: you make a single vehicle that functions both on land, sea, underwater and in air and fight i round in each region, for example, first fight on land, rule is you muct always be in contact with the ground, second fight, on the sea, rule is you muct be in contact with the water and majority of your craft must be above the surface, can not touch land or the bottom, third fight, underwater, rule is you must be completely submerged and can not make contact with the bottom, last fight, air, must be in air, can not touch land or water. you must use the same unmodified vehicle for all battles.
I think you had form and function, his form build kinda looked bad with the wings not even looking like a real part of the plain yet your function build looked cool as shit.
I would like to see you guys fight your own function builds against each other and your own form builds against each other. That's what I thought you'd do at the end there but you just duplicated the builds from this vid
What I think you should do is do this sort of challenge but swap creations so you give scrap man your build and he gives you his the only rule is that you can’t sabotage the creation before you give it to the other player
Can't wait for the new stuff in a month or so. Also still waiting on news for Scrap Mechanic full release build that is supposed to be out before the end of the year. I actually like Scrap Mechanic a little better. I do wish they had lifting surfaces and drag too.
@@volcano.mitchell I much prefer the graphics style and gameplay of Scrap Mechanic. They are also looking to run it into more of an open world RPG and not just a survival game. Admittedly they are likely just fetch quests, but there might be more to it. The additions they showed off 6 months ago and some of the stuff last year for the full release version look really impressive. Yes I wish Scrap Mechanic had wind and water resistance, a boat prop, a propeller, and lifting surfaces, but even lacking those it is a fun game. If I was into multiplayer or knew others around me that played the game the hide and seek games they do is just great. The maps are incredible. Now I was pretty happy with the Air Campaign as it had more of an RPG feel to it too, but it was a linear story. Still it was good enough to get me to buy the game... and I did go back and play the basic campaign and it was not bad. There are no missions but it was more open world mixed with maybe a bit of problem solving. Never got the Sea DLC and likely will not unless they make it really cheap, but the space one does look interesting. I wish there was a campaign with it though, but it does not seem to have one.
