A short video showing how i clean and maintain my 1Zpresso grinders. Good cleaning and maintenance is important to the lifespan of your grinder and also the hygiene of the grinder.
You don't need to clean your grinder every time that you use it, but i highly recommend that you do dismantle the grinder and clean inside at least once every couple of weeks, it takes only a few minutes.
I recommend that you never use water anywhere near the burrs or the inside of the grinder, including WDT for retention, because i personally think that this can damage the burrs over time.
I recommend that you use the provided cleaning brush, some soft tissue or a soft cloth and if there are any very stubborn stains, a soft cloth with a tiny drop of water can be used, but only on the outside of the grinder and not inside, but again make sure they you dry off 100% after doing this.

I now understand your (apparent) CONTRADICTION when referring to UNSCREWING the bottom fixed burr. If you're looking at the grinder - FROM THE BOTTOM - then you turn it CLOCKWISE to remove. BUT, if you're observing it from the TOP, then of course, it's COUNTER-CLOCKWISE! P.S. & N.B. Unfortunately, you DIDN'T clearly explain that. 🙂

Is the BOTTOM BURR removable - WITHOUT - dismantling the whole grinder? (IOW, by itself)

Before you can take the bottom burrs out, you need to take the inner burrs out, because when the inner burrs are assembled, they and the burrs shaft need to slide out from the bottom and while they are in, they stop your bottom burrs from coming out. So you will need to take the parts that are holding the inner burrs in place, then take the burrs with the burr shaft out, only then will you be able to unscrew the bottom burrs.

Have you ever used one of these blowers that are used to clean out computers - one I think it's called the data vac?

I did not try any of the electric blowers like the Datavac or the Metrovac myself, they do look useful, but they are maybe a little over kill for the grinder. Also i heard some really negative things about some of the electric blowers, like over heating and failing after a very short time, or really cheap quality parts that look a little dangerous for the cheaper models. Honestly the cleaning brush that's included with the grinder is good enough for pretty much all the parts. You could also look at getting a blower, 1Zpresso sell their own, but any one will work the same and there are some pretty cheap one for sale.

Can i use toothbrush to clean the burr?

I don't really recommend that you use a toothbrush, the bristles on the toothbrush are quite a lot harder than the cleaning brush hairs and will make the blades on the burrs more dull faster. If you do decide to use a toothbrush, at least use one that has very soft bristles and be very gentle with the burrs, also absolutely don't use water to clean.
