Beautiful city. I'm old enough to remember when Hungary was part of the Warsaw Pact. And of course now they are in the EU. It blows my mind how much things can change in a few decades.
My aunt had visited Budapest etc in early 90s or something, she makes these exact same observations. Maybe travelling in various periods can help one realize certain things. But I personally prefer the journeys of mind, and talking to people who have realized those things xD Well, tourism gets some flak nowadays, for whatever reasons. But I'm just not impressed or wealthy enough to care about that "sport"... Videos like these could grow on me though. p.s. btw, Anthi, your channel's vibes are certainly a nice shift from the usual stuff, especially from the ones of the Greek corner of social media (the majority of stuff RU-vid keeps promoting disgusts me at this point, and I always click on the most serious options available so it's not because I'm watching political videos and such, especially on this account). Grats to anyone who truly keeps (the healthy part of) their inner child intact even nowadays. Most seem to think growing up means adopting more and more cynicism (and confusion, etc... so, immaturity in the end). I laugh when they complain about it and literally everything else (while also calling others "spoiled" and "toxic"). I know this was a bit off topic, I should just finish the video and appreciate the scenery etc. But first I had to expand a bit, on the differences between the good old homemade videos and the so "pro" - and totally "innocent" - ones. Some of us notice, even if we're usually caught up in watching different things. Well, my main focus is always good music but yeah. Glad I discovered another rabbit hole today, I'd never think I could appreciate videos about Disney merchandise or travels :p Or comments about historical events, for that matter...
