Thanks for the video. Do we reach to same results while applying the Dot Matrix algorithm and Needleman Wunsch algorithm? Are the outcomes of the Dot Matrix algorithm much narrow in size compared to the Needleman approach? I mean, if I reach 4 answers by Needleman, do I get the same results in Dot Matrix, or will the results be less?
The dot is there - it is just in the center of the 3 character window. The window size 3 comparing ACA with ACG matches and gets a dot when stringency is 2 ;-)
