Here is the rotovertor circuit using two transformers and two FWBRS in link below that I promised I would post instead of the very messy drawing in video: alternativeworldenergy.wordpress.com/simple-rotovertor-looper/ Also, at 12:10 I meant to say 4uf cap, not a 2uf cap. In link below is the looping Rotovertor circuit Hector posted years ago that I was trying to replicate yesterday and today, and finally came up with my own version which is very similar....note the "extra" transformer at bottom of drawing: alternativeworldenergy.wordpress.com/hector-rotovertor-circuit/

One of the things I did with this setup was take the vectored power over to the RV Alt and vector that out with a larger transformer. Basic rig is to have two motors nose to nose. The trick is to run the second motor off of the run phase cap with it's own run phase cap. 2 RVs in parallel run on less than one driving the other at idle. Vector transformers can then drive the load Get a second motor and use it like a vectored transformer.

Hi Chad I have my dual rotor alternator thing to attach to shaft, it's similar to a Muller generator like our friend Robert Myrland loopedr using an RV spinning it years ago. What you describe sounds like what Tom McKay did (also years ago) using two motors shaft to shaft with run caps combined I guess vectored into the other. I have all his schematics if you want to see them . Hector calls what I did here in video parallel solid state. I guess with invertor in loop that makes it solid state. I don't know... I took your advice and soldered all my connecting cables as when one goes bad it screws up progress forever until the problem found meanwhile I go down wrong road thinking it doesn't work with gremlins laughing as it's just cable. You should join EVGRAY@grouos.io/ Hector monitors it from his distance he will start posting again when his computer gets fixed I hope.. Wally from Argentina posts there he is really doing good RV work...

Hi Chad I tested this out today and it does not work very well, the draw does NOT stay at 90ma but instead goes up to a huge 500ma when the extra transformer put in circuit across L1 and L2 Sorry!

I tested this today with the ,not the grid power, and it DOES NOT WORK VERY WELL! The input draw goes way up when the 2.3A appears. Putting the extra transformer across the AC feed lines just makes draw go way up to 60W input in order to get that big amps charge Sorry,!

Hi Mehmet Problem when I added the second transformer, I put the AC legs of it's primary in parallel with the AC feed to the motor itself. So it's like adding another AC power supply on top of, and independent to the run cap phase that I have been pulling that 340,ma out of and then slammed. In the 😂rectified secondary output of that "extra" transformer straight into the super cap and battery. I was fooled because tone of motor did not change and meter showed no increase in draw. The ammeter was in wrong place and did not the extra draw, when I put meter in correct place now the huge extra draw shows up wh n I get the 2.3A into super cap and battery. With invertor ipoweing motor in looped mode and motor not connected to grid anymore now the invertor cuts out every five seconds or so from some current limiter inside it..adjusting run caps is no help as I have bypassed the motor just slammed more juice into the super cap and battery via straight from the AC input. I am going to take this video down in a few days as it is embarrassing

The two transformers are probably outputing different voltages and the battery is a highly non linear load so no conclusions can be drawn. The gentleman's solution is a three phase transformer and rectifier. Second best is to use three identical transformers and connect so as to get low voltage, three phase AC, then make a three phase rectifier with 6 diodes.

This a dumb mistake not having ammeter in correct position to see increased draw to 60W from 11W when extra transformer connected direct to AC power input shoots in the 30W charge. If no increased draw this would of been fantastic but not the case

Awesome. Well done! With the set up dialed in so well it would be interesting to try another, less efficent, inverter if you have one kicking around, just to see if will work without the special statpower inverter. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sandy These tests were done with the 120VAC 60hz grid....the circuit drawing shows it looped however, with the statpower invertor, most probably any invertor would work. The statpower runs the RV at 12VDC and 530ma while a "normal" invertor would draw 12VDC and about 1A worth of power...

Doug, nice. Have you tried this same experiment using schotsky diodes, or are those, you are using? I am liking schotsky diode results, but am on the look out for heavy amperage ones.

I have some 600V 15A ultra fast diodes, and also just hot a bagfull of MUR 160 super ultra fast diodes, 600V and 1A rated (these for repair of statpwer invertor as when I hooked pos tto neg from battery not only did the fuse blow, but so did this diode) So I fixed the invertors they work fine now. Both of these diodes work good, especially the 15A ones. You can always parallel diodes if you want more amps

WORKS NO GOOD!!!! SORRY DRAW GOES WAY UP TO ^60W when extra transformer connects.

Kon, You have to tune the circuit to correct the imbalances that you create by adding a load. So under load, start putting low-value run caps between L1, L2, and L3 motor windings. As you put different values of run caps between different legs of the motor windings, watch the input amp reading. It will either go up or down. Of course, you want the amps to go down. So use whatever caps you have to achieve this, you know what I am talking about, right? It's exactly like tuning the strings of the guitar.

Isn't the second transformer just a separate load like plugging two items in a three output extension cord? Your measuring the in of one and the out of the second added to the out of the first. Sorry just a little confused.

Hi Jon It's the DC out of the secondary of transformer A joined with the DC out of secondary of transformer B While transformer A has it's primary in series with L3 line that "-goes through" one half of the transformer to one side of the 4uf AC run cap that stretches across the "rotary transformer" phase. (L2 to L3) And the primary of transformer B is not in series like transformer A primary is, but transformer B has it's primary parallel stretching across L1 to L2 The primaries of both transformers extract the reactive power circulating in the run cap phases using different pathways how my contorted mind looks at it. Look at the Hectors drawing in the second link I put up to add to confusion I had asked Hector about that extra transformer at bottom of his drawing and I asked is it not just stepping down the power direct from the grid (like you are thinking and I did too) and he said no it "goes to the run cap - look where the primary ends up"

You are right ! The draw goes way up when the extra transformer added to mix. I had ammeter in wrong place did not show the extra draw happening Looks like 60w in when 30w charge l

So, 120 VAC X 0.09 AMPS = 10.8 watts Input and ~12 VDC X 2.36 AMPS = 28.32 watts Output. Is that correct? Can we see the volt meter DC value across the battery? If those numbers are correct, it should be on a continuous rise.
@MrDKONZEN
@MrDKONZEN 2 месяца назад
That seems to be the numbers, the battery charged very well during filming... .I was only testing using the grid 120VAC in this video as goal was to get some good amps out of it. Yes the volts should be on a continuous rise if it is running from the invertor in a looped mode,,,,
@MehmetBoysal
@MehmetBoysal 2 месяца назад
I agree, the numbers are good and encouraging. But here is one more thing to take into consideration. When you use a DC to AC inverter to power the AC motor, how efficient are those inverters?
@MrDKONZEN
@MrDKONZEN 2 месяца назад
Hi Mehmet The invertor I use is a statpower brand and it has no step windings like a normal transformer instead it's circuit uses a DC to DC boost convertor to step up voltage and then some H switching for AC it uses the same watts as when I run rotovertor from grid. Comparing to standard invertors it uses half the watts.
@MrDKONZEN

The numbers are way wrrong and it works not good....the input does not stay at 90mo it goes up to 500ma (60W) upon connecting the extra transformer. I had the ammeter in wrong place! SORRY
