im planning for an m4 sherman that works on bike gears and one enthusiastic motherfucker (me) but i cant seem to find any measurements of the damn thing.
Great JOB!!...little more detail work, a "safe" cannon for some "bang", some painted white US stars, US flag on back...and some type of name, I don't know..."Christine" comes to mind-LOL For company "C"...not the movie Christine, that could get ugly--maybe "Battling Brad" would be better. From what I understand, tanks were given nicknames for what company they served during WWII. Anyway....AWESOME job!! You can't imagine what kind of joy, that your tank would bring to crowds during parades, honoring our vets and military. Forget the fire trucks with their sirens....you on the parade...stopping, then firing that cannon off....man...the kids/adults would go wild. You sir...would be the star of the whole show(other than our vets of course). Hats Off!!
My only suggestion would be to make the gun barrel out of steel or copper because PVC pipe can explode under air pressure. it is not designed for high pressure air service. there are you tube videos all over the place with PVC potato guns exploding because of that fact. Otherwise you did an absolutely awesome job building your tank man. Really awesome.
If it could only be combined with a grassmower than you'd have the best of two worlds. You could say to your wife "I'm out mowing the lawn" but instead you're playing around with your babytank😉😁
Good this is the first of its kind that has done this kind of endurance run the suspension looks very professional not a diy shortcut. Did you cover it with metal sheet first or did you just paint it?
