as an avid ballet fan Viensay is one of my favorite dancers and this corp is excellent. but the orchestra needs to fine tune those notes, and that baby screaming... get him out please
The unison dancing here is beyond outstanding....not perfect, bc that’s ridiculous, but incredible nonetheless! So few companies can achieve this, for some reason, and there’s nothing more annoying than a few dancers from the best companies who can’t seem to match their movements to anyone else’s, even in a trio. If the Bolshoi can do it. Other companies should be able to, as well. This is gorgeous!
Well, perhaps the fact, that Russia has an enourmus population and ballet is one possible way out of poverty, many families try to put kids on this path. Out of that many, they can choose and select the best. No European country has such big amount of children to choose from. Also, kids have almost zero human rights there, the training is cruel and I guess these two factors are key to this kind of perfection.

Angelina Vlashinets fez uma excelente Myrtha. A expressão em seu rosto pelo que sofreu por amor faz um enorme constrate para entender fato a motivação de Myrtha nutrir a vingança de perseguir os homens, logo ao sair do túmulo. Nunca tinha visto antes uma bailarina que interpretasse Myrtha dessa forma, geralmente a maioria só faz uma expressão maldosa.
Wow, this is breathtakingly gorgeous. Bolshoi is the best of the best!! I have not seen any Giselle Willis corps on YT that even comes close to the extraordinary Bolshoi corps unison.

Не вижу смысла переделывать великое в посредственное. Есть вещи, которые трогать нельзя. Никто же не выпускает новую версию Императорской короны. Если выпустят, все будут знать, что это реплика или фальшивка.
This is not exactly a "new" version but a reconstruction of Petipa's choreography and scenario based on the Stepanov notations and some even older source materials. You're perfectly free to dislike it, of course (I don't always prefer the reconstructed variations myself, though I still believe Petipa's choreography should be preserved) but from a dramatic standpoint I do believe this is the most effective version I've seen.
