Hi guys! I am an accordion player from Czechia. You played fantastic, but there is one problem - Rosamunde, in its origin, isnt German song. It was written by a Czech composer Jaromir Vejvoda, and in Czech is called "škoda lásky". Of course, later, it was arranged for german audience, but it's a czech song❤.
Well I mean the Video is not called ,, Music from Countries " but rather traditional Music and as someone who lives in Germany I still hear it very often. I get your point though
Slavic songs on accordions sound beautifull. We Slavs have a wonderful culture, we are brothers, no matter what the politicians say. Greetings from Poland🇵🇱
Here in Brazil we have a rhythm named " Forró " which has the accordion as the main instrument and also a very particular style of playing it. The principal name of the rhythm is the legend " Luis Gonzaga ". Just saying this because Brazil isn't just Samba and beaches, we have multiple cultures and I'm sure you guys will love the Forró and it's connection with the accordion. Hugs!
Wow so beautiful to heard this song from Georgia, my mom she's from Georgia and she become a good energy to hear this song, big Respect from Iran❤️🔥❤️🔥
Great video, guys! Jorge Ben jor is nice, but actually here in Brazil the accordion is most widely used to play two rhythms, which are forró and sertanejo. I suggest you take a look, you might like it :)
♥️🇷🇸 you chose a very beautiful serbian song , i honestly thought you would play something like moravac or uzicko kolo, but I'm glad you chose tamo daleko, a song from WW1 that's very impactful. Especially if you understand the history of this country or how this song came to be. thank you ♥️
"Tamo Daleko" is Serbian song, but it's not typical Serbian traditional song, it's kind of exception, based on French music and very different from the rest of Serbian traditional music. They also picked wrong song to represent Romanian traditionall music. Anyway, they showed they can play different music styles very well.
❤😂 Миллион благодарностей!!! Обожаю национальную музыку разных стран! Вы - супер! Сумели передать национальные характеры даже в коротких музыкальных фрагментах! ❤
Continental Europe: hey lets have a dance and drink and gather and enjoy life. England: Im depressed. I want to die. Hey there bard. Play me a song of sadness.
Give them a break. Poor sods have been living under the rain since they settled, with people who don't want them there on two sides, open sea leading to frozen lands on another, and the most terrifying ennemy known to man southward. People who eat snails and frogs. Madmen. Morale is bound to take a hit.
@@SorisMusic It is a song, sung by the serbian soldiars in the WW1 who fought in outsite of serbia. The name of the song translated means something like "There far away" . It tells about how great it was in the villages before the war and how the churches, in which they married, got burned.
Holly mother of God, That tango from Argentina!!! 🇦🇷 bravo 👏. Cheers 🍻 from Mexico 🇲🇽. Viva la música from every corner of the world 🌎 or universe 👽 shout out to any human and non human that could read this.
In Mexico we have a deep connection with the accordion, it's used in a lot of current popular music, but also in traditional music as well, we have our own style of polka due to the cultural mix that happened in the north of the country, your rendition of Jarabe Tapatío was really good, and I hope that you read my comment because I'd love to hear you play a mexican polka 😁
Its just what I wanted to say. They picked Jarabe Tapatio, one of the most steriotypical songs.of Mexico, but one of the simplest, and I don"t blame them; but like you said, I invite them to dive into the norteño genre, for instance. We got plenty of songs composed for accordion, though not as known as Jarabe, but worth to try.
don't know about other lyrics, but Serbian is extremely touching one. far far away, away from the sea, there is my village, there is Serbia... song composed at Greek island of Corfu to commemorate starved survived Serbian soldiers after retreat march through foreign mountains who regrouped at Ionian sea to be joined by Greeks, Brits and French troupes at Salonika front in the Word War I. It was later played at funeral of Nikola Tesla
Regards from Serbia and tnx for the song "Tamo daleko". Here is translation: "Over there, far away from the sea, There lies my village, there lies Serbia. 2X Over there, where the lemon blooms yellow, There was the only path for the Serbian army. 2X Over there, where the white Crimea blossoms, There, father and son gave their lives together. 2X There, where the Morava quietly flows, There my icon remained, and my patron saint's day. 2X There, where the Timok greets Veljko's city, There they burned down the church, where I wedded as a young bride. 2X Without my homeland, I lived on Krf, But proudly Serbia lived within me. 2X" The song "Tamo daleko" talks about nostalgia and love for Serbia and its traditions, even when one is far away from their homeland. It describes rural life, military paths, the sacrifice of fathers and sons for the country, as well as an emotional connection to Serbian culture and customs. The song highlights the importance of homeland and the pride one feels towards their country, even when they are far away from it.
Thank you for the Lyrics and explanation!😃 I've known that song for a few years now and always loved it. Until today i didnt know the lyrics but it always sounded to beautifully nostalgic to me❤ Now i know it indeed is😊
if you know the limitations of playing the bagpipes youd cut us some slack😅 Although scotland has many other folk songs without bagpipes and thats what id rather people hear, more interesting scottish celtic music than the same 3 bagpipes songs which all kind of sound similar anyway
My middle school aged son is the only accordion student in his city and when he heard your Finland Polkka he immediately looked up how to play it that day and put it together by ear. I asked what his motivation was and he said it was a song in the game, "World of Tanks" when he went to Finland (in the game). Keep up the good work! You guys sound great!
Thank you for including Belarus. This is my mother's country, often pushed aside to obscurity, and I am pleased to see its representation. It is a wonderful place, and the people even more so.
As a Brazilian I really think it's cool you guys using Jorge Ben Jor, but I think maybe Luiz Gonzaga would be a better choice to show how Brazilian music uses the accordion.
yeah, that's the moment i realised they're not playing "accordion music" from countries, they're just playing music from different countries *on* accordions
Interestingly Serbian song was composed to commemorate Serbian soldiers starved and depleted after retreat march because of Germany and Austria invaded Serbia in the World War I. Love from Serbia

Amazing talented musicians. It's an honor listen to this songs of many countries and reminds them their traditions. Greetings from Natal, Rio Grande do Norte in the northeast of Brazil. 🇧🇷. Keep yourselves always playing the best playlist of this world.
Russians call it Bayan (after the name of the epic bard Boyan, a character of "The Lay of Igor's Campaign", a Russian poem of 12 century) and consider it a Russian instrument.
@@clasherdanet8699 Kinad. We have two versions. Original, which is not, and translated english version Beer barrel polka. Original text is about lost love. But the first version was only instrumental.
The song "Rosamunde" has a german Text, but the melody and Polka in general has nothing to do with germany. I think it was because of Ernst Mosch. Technically, He was a german and made Polkas to hits. Today, his birth-region belongs to the Czech Republic.
8:10 Tamo Daleko is a really sad song, it is from WW1 I tear up every time I hear it Lyrics: There, far away, far from the sea, There is my village, there is Serbia. There is my village, there is Serbia. There, far away, where the yellow lemon blooms, There was the only path open to the Serbian Army. There was the only path open to the Serbian Army. There, far away, where white lilies bloom, There, father and son together gave their lives. There, father and son together gave their lives. There, where the silent Morava travels, There my icon stayed, and my family saint. There my icon stayed, and my family saint. There, where the Timok greets Veljko's city, There they burned my church, where I was married when young. There they burned my church, where I was married when young. Without my homeland, I lived on Corfu, But I proudly cheered, "Long live Serbia!" But I proudly cheered, "Long live Serbia!"
It's so interesting to hear that the accordion can play many music genres and so many styles! My surprise was to hear them play classical music with it!
Your choice of songs to represent each contry wad so satisfying. I wanted to like only the one from my contry but truth be told I liked them all. Congratulations, your work was superb.❤

Greetings from Mexico, there are traditional mexican polka, cultural heritage from Poland in the north of Mexico. The most popular polka is called "polka de Evangelina"
Great,my dear colleagues! Greetings from opera singer from Serbia. There are lot of similarities between countries. Music bounds us all. Even though I am not Bulgarian, that was the most impressive, everything else was really impressive. It is so hard. Serbia is near Bulgaria and we know that.

I'm from Bulgaria and respect for your talent guys. The Bulgarian rhythm is specifically different from the other countries, so if you do that so you can do everything, and this is approve from many musicians around the world.
@@JustDuetFFM Thanks for interpeting Donauwellen in this video. Probably my favourite waltz. It represents Romania in a way most other Romanian songs or pieces don't, which is probably why it's one of the most popular. Not Slavic, but not fully Latin either. Thank you again
The dynamics of that Bulgarian piece are crazy. I don't really know a lot of these songs but they're all great. I hope to find a nice diatonic accordion to learn Breton folk music on

The range of these guys with an accordion is astonishing, if I didn't know any better, I would have been sure the Scottish song was played on bagpipes!
