Took these videos after fixing some electrical issues causing my alternator's pcm voltage regulator to act stupid, now im back up to not dropping below 12.8 volts full tilt thus far, i also am experimenting with a battery isolator relay.

Hey I have a wrangler I wanted to do the same same setup hawks on taramps 5k how’s it holding up what you got for batteries .. I have d3400 upfront thinking I may need one in the back too ??

Edit..so u have 2 12s 1500 rms a piece on a 5k amp??I was gonna get 2 15s on a smart 3k clearly thats not the case now lol..what do u think would be better the smart 5k or bass 5k
I have a jeep liberty and 2 hawk 15s on Orion xtr2500.1dz. In the liberty 1 sub inverted 1 sub normal sounds the best and moves the most air. Mine are facing the roof also. Gotta love how jeeps have no hatch space. 7cf box and agm and have about 4" of space left lmao. Them hawks float stuff in my jeep. Can't quite float a can in the window but it dose hover

Yea man what’s your battery and capacitor? I have stock capacitor and battery with one 1000 watt battery in the truck and I have power issues with a single 12” hawk on 2k skar. Do you have the big three? Or just upgraded battery’s?
HI, i really need to know how you power these, im planning on doing something similar with my 1999 tj but idk how to power it. I know i need a second battery but are you running dual alternators?
@@BASSWRANGLER2000 I was just going to run an xspower battery with an isolator and was thinking a 250a alternator For the taramps he 3k at 1ohm and a 4 channel Not sure if that’s enough But

Are you still running a bass 5k or what amp are you on now. The 4000.1 Brutus? Because I have a pair of hawk 12”s and I want to go for a taramps 5k but I don’t want to put to much power.
the 5k isnt gonna put too much power to them, in fact i was struggling to give them the power they wanted with the taramps, thats why i went with 2 4ks as i can turn them down to avoid clipping, i currently have one of my 4ks being sent out for warranty work but will be back on 2 soon
@@BASSWRANGLER2000yes many factors but box is number 1 I've heard a dude on budget with custom box on Gothic series sub and amp hit 145db on one 12 box is number one
I'm deciding between going with hawks,titans xfls or xrs rite now to replace my 3 tnts ( 1500 watts rms version not the 800rms ones) on a taramps md8k I tend to go with what I know and the xrs and xfls r solid and nasty asf, but wanna try new stuff bc maybe it's better ...
the hawks are basically just the model in between the xfl and the hd series, it has the basket and simaler soft parts to the hd and has a slightly bigger motor and better cooling than the xfl from my understanding
I’m still running ab’s titans 600 rms and i swear they cam eat 2,000 watts American bass underates there subs. I think they are actually 750 rms at least ab’s are more for spl imho but sound better than similar subs at same price!
@@jeffrothegamer guy I sold my TNTs to still beating em daily...the md8k would get em stinky after 15+ min full tilt, but go all day at 1/2-3/4 volume...they were getting almost double Thier rms
I aint had my hawk 15s stink yet. Had American bass xr15s on same orion xtr2500.1dz same gain same everything the hawks or on and they would stink to high hell after maybe 2 minutes full tilt.
@@DirtySouthFlorida3 the XR is supposed to be their sq lineup so I assume the XR would be the better sub in that respect, although imo I feel like the hawk series has a really good balance between sq and spl
@@BASSWRANGLER2000 i mean there not the best but definitely not the worst and can produce really good power just be careful is all im saying i don't want to see the wrangler as a char spot on the pavement
@@puresesh7985 well bud obviously you're very inexperienced and haven't had many stereos I've been doing this since 1998 ill tell you right now taramps amps are fire starters they've burnt more systems to the ground than you'll ever hope to see 👀
