Hey. I recently got an American bass XFL, but it's not getting as low as I want. My box is currently tuned to 40hz and is 1.7 cubic feet. What recommendations would you make to get deeper bass? Thanks.
I ran into your vid again just now, 8 months later after I commented last, and your video was the video that got it stuck in my head that the XFL were probably gonna be the best for the money. And sure enough, my chevy cruze flexes and pops like a bubble just like this man's car. Possibly even more since the cruze is a smaller car. I think these subs would check all the boxes for most people. Bassheads, every day listener, etc. Also a tip - if you're an every day listener, if you get 2 instead of 1, you may have trouble breaking them in. I got two thinking more could only be better. But after owning them for 7 months, I now see that they took sooooo long to break in. And, they may still be breaking in. Because to get two 12" XFL's to high excursion to stretch their spiders, by the time you get to that point, it is louder than a lot of people can handle listening to on a daily basis. And it definitely is causing hearing loss. 100%. These levels of bass are definitely not free. If you want deep bass, these'll do it for ya. Make sure your box is right for what you're looking for. My box is 4 cubic ft tuned at 32hz. And 4 cubes was minimum recommended for these, so I am betting they'd play a lot deeper with a 5 cube box. But even in this Skar prefab, they are able to blast all bass down to about 24hz. And, they can still play respectably down to about 21hz. I just got my two xfl now. They're on a taramps 3k bass. My little Chevy cruze is flexing almost like that Chrysler. Stock alt, just an extra AGM to power. Ya, these things crash. Try 2nd hand by suicide boys. My car resonates and flexes hard on that song.

Bro I got those 12 hawks and threw them in a big ported Q bomb box and I got a Taramps smart 3k on them all the gains are turned down in my 200C they hit too hard are those 4s or 6s ?
Got a question I got a ds18 12 witch is 4000 watts just bought a taramp 3 k but I'm on stock eletric so if I turn it up it clips so I'm gonna do the big 3 tommrrow and get a battery next week is that all you have or did you upgrade your alternator

Oh my bad just saw this answer to my comment about power. Wow man. That bodes extremely well for me because if you can run this on that battery I think a taramps 3k should probably run just fine on an XS power d3400. I've heard the d3400 is the best one but I've never owned one yet. This is my first car audio system
Do you know if this car has an agm, big 3, or high output alternator installed? I been hearing people can run 3 or 4k off just an XS agm and keep voltage. I'm hoping so because alternator like 500-700 bucks. And my battery is in the trunk so the big 3 would be more expensive too.
No high output alternator but he does have the extra battery in the trunk we will be doing big 3 and alternator later on he’s wanting to redue the whole system in the car
@goldenc5204 Wow. Lots of hit for just a 2500 on stock. Sounds hopeful for mine. Because I have a 130a stock alt, stock 4 gauge, and I'll have the 3400 on it. Until I can afford a big 3 because I don't wanna run a line to the trunk myself. When I do the big 3, I think I'm gonna do 4/0 gauge because I keep wanting more power. You know. Bass head sh**. Lol.
