What a beautiful town Chieti, the property is amazing with its high ceilings and beautiful courtyard entrance. I would definitely take out those lofts in the bedrooms.

Chieti is so beautiful! I wouldn’t mind the traffic noise outside the windows. It’s part of city life. When the windows were closed, seems as though you could hear a pin drop. Absolutely, get rid of the built-in’s @ the bedrooms and I definitely would make the 2 apartments into 1 with the first one you entered being the main living area/kitchen and the second smaller one being transformed into a couple bedrooms. I’m not the biggest fan of communal entry because I like a neat & tidy space and you’d have no real control over that. Great property all being said!!!

What a great property with easy access to public transportation. The bus running directly past the property is proof of easy access! European public transportation is inexpensive, clean, reliable and safe. I'd personally divide the property in to two sperate apartments. What a great price for two urban properties close to everything the city has to offer! 🙋‍♀💜

It only works if you combine the apartments and turn the entire second apartment into one master suite. The other apartment you would have the kitchen,living room, and the 2nd/spare bedroom. You would basically have to plaster over the second kitchen to turn it into a den for the master bedroom. Tear out all of those ridiculous built ins. Tear out that ludicrous bathtub in what is really a powder room and put in a washer dryer. Now that would make a great 2 bedroom two and a half bath. Absolutely great tour! 👍

Yes, the loft in the bedrooms would have to go. Voluminous ceilings everywhere, then they turn the bedroom into a cave.

Very nice and spacious. Lots of wasted space in the bedroom/wardrobe hall area, but still so lovely with the high ceilings and open feelings. As for the second apartment, I would combine the two and make that the primary bedroom with ensuite. Great find and even better price.

This would be a great set up-rent the smaller one and set the other one up as your personal apartment. I'd definitely ditch the lofts in both apartments. Makes the rooms seem too small. Wish we were at a time in life where we could purchase these units!

Chieti looks beautiful The apartments are a nice idea I would unmodernize the fireplaces and David I like tall ceilings as well so I would take down the lifts. I like the idea of designing the kitchens. Nice job

Beautiful property. I see this as being good for a small family on one side with an aging parent to live on the other apartment. Close but they have their own space. Or for a slightly larger family that needs more space.

Great location in this ancient city and I can see its potential to turn it back to one large apartment. I'd redesign the spaces for better flow and modernity. Definitely get rid of those mezzanines. Doesn't add any value.

Another great property for those looking for city life. Very centrally located, and close to the beach. May rent out one side and remove all the lofts in favor of the high ceilings.

That bathroom off the living room makes no sense. It’s obviously a powder room and a hookup for a washing machine. That tub is ridiculous

It's a great property. I would definitely remove those lofts in both rooms. I would keep them the bigger to live in, the smaller rent out or keep for family & friends. ❤

I am visiting a property in Chieti in two weeks. I would love to know more about Chieti, been there only once and was visiting properties all over Abruzzo.

@@luzinparis We have had our house in Chieti since the end of 2019 and love it here. We are in Chieti Alta, not Scalo, our house is in the historic city centre. Chieti for us has everything, great places to eat, great bars, lots of history and culture, friendly people. Less than half an hour to the beach or mountains, and fifteen minutes from the airport. There are lots of amaziing places in Abruzzo, but for us Chieti offers the most.

The lofts are kinda cool...they probably used them for their beds to be able to utilize the rooms for other furniture and what not.

I think the practicality of the floating ceilings, as they were called in this video, is good. I'm pretty sure that the lofts are not meant for storage but rather for sleeping, not for beds, but only for a mattrace. This solution allows the owners put whatever they need below them, eg. in the first apartment, a child could sleep on the loft and below it there would be more space for a desk, chests-of-drawers, etc. And in the other apartment, the loft looks made for a large mattrace that would fit two people, thus gaining space for a living room below it. It does not look the best but if you need to fit in a living-room, it seems like a good idea to me.

My guess is that they were planning on short term, holiday rentals. You can have more beds/more people/more€€ with the mezzanine space. However, they ruin the apartment. Make it into one, beautiful, high ceilinged apartment. Can’t decide whether the large entrance hall should stay. It’s dark, and not particularly inviting. Would buy this in a heartbeat though.😊

The main bedroom is like a prison cell. The living room and kitchen are great spaces, but the rest of the apartment is a mess

I noticed some flickering on your video. Are you filming at 24fps? If so, increase to 25fps so that you are in phase with the Italian electricity frequency of 50Hz and you won’t ever get any flickering from LED’s :)

Great price but way too many interior rooms in a weird,choppy layout.Needs to be gutted and opened up to bigger size rooms and light to complement the high ceilings.Would tear down wall between living room and kitchen to create great large open space for sure for combining living,kitchen,dining rooms. Bathrooms need to be redone.Floating wood beds have to go! I wld create a guest room in smaller unit and re-do and enlarge bathroom.Also just a minimal kitchen-small fridge,coffee maker, open shelving,small microwave for more space.

Nice property. I have noticed that the electricity setup varies a bit, thinking of the amount of breakers and size of the main breaker and so on. Can you please say a few words on what’s standard setup in Italy? (Number and size of breakers, main intake size, etc..)
