Two people have been arrested and police are seeking two more suspects after a young man was shot in the head; Toronto residents are enjoying the heat as the remnants of Hurricane Beryl looms over the GTA; and, Ticketmaster notified customers that their personal data may have been compromised.

I'd remember in the summer during the 90s me and my friends would be all over Toronto. We'd, ride our bikes to so many places, jump on the transit bus and take the train and never felt unsafe. As an adult in my late 30s now I wouldn't venture to many parts of Toronto in 2024. How did such a city fall in the last 10-12 years?

We did not ban handguns. There is a freeze on buying selling and transferring them but current legal owners are allowed to keep and use them at the range. Criminals are not affected by these new regulations as they never got them through legal channels and never go through the process of registering and legally transferring ownership

Imagine if only Hudson Bay was permitted to sell clothing in Ontario then when the provincial govt tries to open the market up to other players like Urban Planet, Blue Notes, GAP, H&M, Zara etc. the Hudson Bay employees go on strike stating only Hudson Bay should sell clothing in Ontario 🤔. That's how I see it as a regular ordinary customer. Why limit my choice? The LCBO just has to adapt or die like all other businesses without govt protection.
