MSU got three straight top ten wins. Of those three, by the end of the season only Auburn was ranked. Auburn finished the season at #22 in the AP. In the end, 2014 MSU was 1 - 3 against ranked opponents.

That's ironic. That's what most of us State fans would say if we lost. Although I sometimes wonder if the SEC decides who is going to win. When you think about the amount of money on the line, it is possible. The SEC is no joke when it comes to money. I was at this game. I do agree some of the calls could have gone without being called. That's sports. I don't worry about that stuff anymore. Life is too short. But I hear you. When we played Bama last year I thought there would be some egregious flag that would change the feel of the game. That didn't happen. So I was happy about that. Bama beat us. It seems every so couple of years the ncaa/ sec wants to put a team in prominence to garner interest within the conference because whether people like it or not, the sec is not as posing as it once was like it was in the past maybe around 2010 when you had the likes of Florida, LSU, South Carolina, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia etc., now it’s really Alabama and Georgia. They did it for LSU last year..
