I would have never believed the landlord was going to make that place look that good. Glad your happy and got everything fixed up. Looks like you still need to invest in a water heater and at least 2 or 3 air conditioners for the apartment.
Wow the previous video when you looked at it 1st and what it looks like after the landlord fixed it up, what a big difference, this LL seems good. In HK that apartment would go for more than 5000 USD a month LOL
Oh wow I love this apartment I wished I had something like that here in America that price you are very blessed I want to move to the Philippines and be your neighbor now
Congrats! You have a good landlord made good on his word. I know i been a landlord for 27yrs. Enjoy also good advice on pics before moving in for when you move out.
Hey brian, thats a pretty awesome spot you have got there friend, ive been looking for a place myself, cant do it cause im over stateside, can you help a fellow out and share me the contact details of that lovely American retirees renting those unit out? Thanks fella
Looks great and happy living. This is a prime example of why foreigners are moving to Southeast Asian countries....housing cost. In a develop countries like the U.S. a two bedroom 2 bath apartment can easily go for $1,000 per month. Reason why most people had to work way in their 60s to make ends meet. Here you just turned 50 and fully retire because housing cost is only a small portion of your retirement benefits. Not like in the U.S. where 40 or more of their paycheck goes straight to housing cost......
@ALM foreigners are NOT moving to Southeast Asian countries for housing cost.....lol! Its for the young wife or the young girlfriend. I bet you have never tried living in a southeast Asian country. Go do it for 3-6 months and tell me how much you love it.
Hi Brain, We just moved ourself May 14th into a nice 5 bedroom, 3 bath, 2 kitchen house with a small front yard in Camachiles Mabalacat. Rent we got, really lucky 18000 pesos, my wife's friend found this houses for us. We were in Friendship area before this, rent for 3 bedroom 2 bath was 2500 pesos. I've been following you from your site for the last year plus. Hope to meet you sometime after you settled in.
That’s a Great Deal. Safe and Secured. Just a general question to anyone. Does anybody know, if there will be a new Development outside of Clark? Like a Mega World In Manila. Salamat Po
Love the look and at that price, you cannot find a subsidized apartment here in Boston for that price. One reason why I would like to move to the Philippines.
We moved our family into a house we got for them. It was not summer. That means it was not hot with the sun shining. Instead it was raining. You know how it rains in Phillipines. Not fun then either.
Kudos to the workers who renovated ur new place. Night and day difference from 2 weeks ago. Lots of room for the 3 of u. Maybe Liberty should live there as well, lol.
Nice renovation. But can't help wondering parking backwards? Doesn't the exhaustion when you start the car make ur living room smell like a petrol station?
Byron Watts In the Philippines jack of all trades master of none. We replaced a few door knobs at my mother in laws house and let’s just say it was fun lol 😂
spent 20000 dollars on land & house with beautiful country views & no near neighbours, quiet garden for fruit & veges etc. Live on $400 a month in NE Thailand!
Hot as hell....41 degrees feel like temp...equals 105 degrees f... that is friggin hot. I know because im a few blocks away from Brian lol. Anyway, feel the heat!!!! Be good peeps.
Apartment looks great brian, i called in the other day but you were to busy moving. I'll be back on the 11th for a day, hope to catch you at the store for a chat.
You have to inspect and take notes of everything you see wrong anywhere you rent regardless, even here in the US. I got scummed many times here in the US for things that weren't true. They either forfeit a big chunk of your deposit or just kept the whole deposit which exactly we experienced while renting here. These dishonest landlords won't do the inspection with you when you move out even when you keep asking them. Then they would charge you with fine for things that is either not true or things that you did not do. One time, we kept calling the owner of certain condo we were renting because we're moving out. Anyway we only stayed there for 6 months after the contract expired. I was in the Navy and i had to constantly move my family. She never answer nor return our call. And she never gave back any of our $1,000 deposit. The place was better than it was when we moved out because i put money on landcscapes and plants. And being in the Navy we were always responsible in keeping the place in great condition and never failed to clean the place as required by the contract.
your new place is bigger than what I live in here in Oz and I pay $380aud per week. blows me away how somethings there are ridiculously cheap and other things so expensive. also the further south you go the cheaper things get too
Thanks for the video... I'm looking for a place in Phil so it's good to know what you can get for that budget because that's what I'm looking to spend on rent... Cheers! Do you know of any good Phil websites for searching apartments?
Looks a really clean apartment, don’t like the garage layout but it’s all about security, and probably a lot cheaper than your present apartment good deal 😎👍.
Well 12000 pesos at 50 to 1 is $240 USD so it would depend on what the exchange rate would be when he bought pesos....sometimes more dollars sometimes less. cheers :)
Looks good! Did you have to fight very hard to get them to NOT paint it green? I could deal with the yellow or blue paint colors they seem to like but not the green.
