Today we are taking a look at two brand new CHEAP RC Cars
The SMRC 910 and the JJRC Q146!
Two ARRMA Outcast inspired Knock offs which promise a lot out of the box but it's not quite as it seems for one of them.
We all love Cheap RC Cars but the options are endless these days which makes finding your next purchase incredibly hard.
One of these Cheap RC Cars is great and well worth the money and the other.. Not so much!
The 6s and 8s ARRMA is out of budget for a lot of people which means we start searching for alternatives that look like the large counterparts but cost nowhere near as much!
Today I tested both of these Cheap RC Trucks to find out which one is worth the money and which one I would completely avoid!

I have no idea why CHEAP RC brands seem to think it's a great idea to keep producing RC cars with friction shocks. That is one way to ruin an RC car!

What do you think of these two ARRMA Outcast inspired Knock Offs? They look cool but performance is lacking in certain areas especially with the SMRC S910. The Q146 would be a better buy and then convert to brushless at a later time with a new standalone Transmitter/Receiver. Or just buy an MJX Hyper go and be done with it.. Let me know your thoughts 💯😎👍

😂After watching this video, I did not hesitate to modify my 144010 Buggy to look like this model and use a slipper clutch drive shaft..🤣Every time I play with the car, I feel that I have been addicted to RC cars..😅Now I am saving money to buy a Kraton 4s or Gorgon..

To be totally honest time you spend on upgrading your "MuchBetter off "with the real deal a armma typhon 3s 6s or something like the new ftx zorro brushless much more hobby grade in my personal opinion and work well on track and you'll save money in the long run.👍

Good Vid. You say it - like i see it. Captn Low Power and Sir Bouncy. Thats a good and true feedback - thanks. For me, the Hypers from MJX are the best for the money - happy with them. The Brushed one is like a WLToys / Lc-Racing - as you said. Only Motormount seems other.

Hi friends, between the q136 and mjx 14210 what do You think its better material, even the front and rear diff what do You think its stronger? I know its brushed vs brushless. I already have old mini 8t and im ok but need try good new diff for it. I miss buy the mjx for 100$...wait for new deal on it or jjrc its better?

Hi m8 great vid as always so thanks for that. I think at the price neither are worth getting for the same or slightly more you can get alot better and it’s also a crowded market so I wouldn’t get either of them especially as there is so much else that’s better to chose from. As for the looks lol I don’t like knock offs as you know 😂 but the white one is quite nice looking!

Fit a spare WL Toys 550 motor and esc and then see how it goes! Be a cheap upgrade and be loads of fun!

Might be good speed wise, but you may also need a new pinion gear as well. The 144001/124016/124017 came with 550 brushed motors paired with a very tall 27t pinion. These made them get about 30 MPH (a couple more if you adjust toe and camber), but they ran hot, and battery life and acceleration really suffered. Go brushless!

The jjrc q146 is just a wltoys 144001 with the body and wheel and wing kit which you can buy seperately for about £8 to £10 it also has a different top chassis brace to relocate the esc on it

I saw on AliExpress that a company makes a conversion kit that turns a Wltoys 1/14 buggy into a mini outcast. Super tempted to get it along with the brushes 1/14 buggy as i don't have one yet.

I'm shocked they didn't just flat out put all the 144001 electronics in the jjrc. They use a smaller motor is that motor mount adjustable?

If the white one had oil fills shocks I'd buy that one all day cuz it looks good. Plus it's brushless that's a big plus. And it is fast cuz you can put a 3S battery to it and I think I saw another guy review this and I think on 3S it went 39 mph. The other one's okay The big plus on that it has oil filled shocks but then it has a brushed motor. I'd rather have the brushless motor and have to replace the shocks then to have a brushed motor and have to replace it with a brushless. Makes more sense to me.
