in the labs we have used 56000 or 64000 but you can also raise it higher like 128000 etc.

Yes, that command does help out immensely. Unfortunately, that command is not available on at least some of the routers in Packet Tracer.

Wouldnt adding the logging synchronous command help out? That way they get to see the progress without the annoying overpainting of your commands.
