Thank you for this upload and thank you for the message, Pastor Curtis. My dad passed away a few months ago from prostate cancer. The past 5 years were tough, but I always tried to remind myself of this...that God is here for me and He has blessed me and my family tremendously, including my dad. It is my belief with so much that God took my dad when He did for many reasons and did so at the exact, perfect moment for all including him. But it's been tough since his passing. Some days I just feel absolutely awful and wish he'd be here. I'd do anything for him to be here with me, even in the condition he was in. I loved him so much. As I drove today, I prayed to God about how I felt, and something came over me. I felt awful towards God. Awful not at Him, but about how I feel in relation to Him. God has blessed me and has been so wonderful through this whole thing. And here I am, feeling the way I do. The verse from 2 Corinthians popped into my head. I couldn't remember it exactly, word for word, but I remember the "His grace is sufficient for me" and I felt awful thinking that the way I'm feeling may be giving off this untrue vibe to God that He is somehow not sufficient for me. When I got home, I looked up this verse to read it in full. I came onto RU-vid to see some commentary on this verse and found your video. When you began talking about your prostate cancer...I instantly teared up. This message was meant for me today. This was God speaking to me through you. I am utterly blessed beyond words. I am so thankful for your message and all that you shared here. May God bless you and your family and your congregation. Thank you so much.
