Many professions such as physicians leave medical school unable to purchase a home due to their student loans. Years ago most of us could pay our tuition by working part time jobs. Those days are over.

they didn't rule against student loan forgiveness as a premise or idea they ruled against the way the biden administration tried to push it through. for example if congress were to pass legislation forgiving all student loans then that would be ok but the way biden did it by trying to fit it into the HEROS act from 9/11 was unconstitutional bc that wasnt the purpose of the legislation. hope that makes sense
