Love fishing for perch we are truly blessed here in Idaho! I’ve noticed that the perch bite really slows around 2:30 IMO. Never fished it at night. Once you get a fat 2 lber you’ll be hooked. Great vid

Yes spend the night on the ice. Bring a mister buddy, cot, and one of those rubber tiles to put on the ice in your tent. That helps keep the floor of the tent dry.

Night fishing is a good idea. The bite usually starts around 7 pm to 10 pm. I am from the upper midwest so that is always prime time for me to catch the late bite.

i just got back from ice fishing there and caught so much fish. we stayed in a air bnb right out of lake cascade. i had so much fun looking in tackle toms.

Great content. Keep it up. 👍 Tip: A buddy heater would keep that tent warm if you did a 24 hour challenge. They hook up to small propane tanks or 20lb tanks.

awsome video bud, when i first started ice fishing and using electronics it was fun but cumbersome when you catch a fish. you have to pull the transducer out of the hole to prevent a tangle. so nowadays i drill two hole side by side and run the tranducer in one and fish out of the other one. i set the tranducer so its just flush with the bottom of the ice. then when you hook a fish you can just keep fighting the fish without having to pull the tranducer cord. on your first day leaving the hotel room to your truck i am very surprised you leave all your gear in the open bed of your truck. up here in my area, people do that too but in the morning all of their gear is gone. so many get their gear stolen like this. even when we got a motel room once we brought all of our gear into the room so it was safe.
