I am feeling like you with the spring deep cleaning. I can not focus at all! Here in NYC all private schools closed and I am home with my 6 year old for the week. I am up-keeping but that is it. The world is heavyhearted and anxious right now and the last thing I want that to do is overwhelm me more. So, I am planning on just spending this time with him. Cuddle, hug, pray, kiss him, embrace him, watch movies, color, and enjoy him! Spring Cleaning can wait! The house is clean and the laundry is done. Family first! Xoxoxoxoxo

What a gorgeous home! As a former mattress sales trainer...very important to get a breathable but waterproof mattress protector on that mattress. It will last longer and stay pristine. Sweat, dead skin, and dust mites are the mattress enemy! Now...if I could just do all the other things you do to keep your house so organized and clean. Thanks for the motivation.

I love the laundry segment and don’t worry you are not alone with the pantry organization, I think it is so theraputic to see the things lined up nicely.
I've always found that it's easier to keep up with the laundry if you separate the kids and adults laundry. I have done this since my oldest was 3. She is now almost 25.
Here’s a tip if your flowers start to die or when you have to change the water just put a cup of sugar into the water stir and it will go back into the flower and let them live and keeps fresh longer

Thank you for the reminder that this is just temporary and that I'm okay to just focus on my family and keep up with what I need to keep up with. Nothing that I do on a daily is going to cause us to go with food, medical care, etc. PS....but I can't give up the constant reminder for everyone to WASH YOUR HANDS. You are doing an amazing job and your kitchen is beautiful!
So motivating! We are hosting the grand boyos quite a bit during school and daycare closures. My daughters are both working from home, but my son in law has been on duty 16 hours a day as a member of the state of emergency crisis team so we are trying to ease the burdens where we can. I always love to see you organizing because I have to have labels facing forward and stock rotated, too. Be safe and stay well.
I look forward to your videos - there's a refreshing realness linked to each one of them and I love it! As far as feeling exhausted at the end of a somewhat "normal" mom-day, YES! I feel that quite often, and I'm a mom of 1 child :) I do work outside of the home full-time, so there's a definite need for me to set tasks aside and implement slow-paced-parenting with my daughter as much as possible. And sometimes it is exhausting! Love every minute of it, but it's sometimes a struggle trying to not think about all the housework that I didn't get to. My prater is that God will help me to not awake each morning to scattered thoughts of what needs to get done, but to thankfulness of a new day and the wisdom to prioritize tasks and to be intentional about my time with Him first, and then my family. It’s so good to know someone besides myself thinks the I do!!! Sometimes my whole house can need a good cleaning but I’m organizing the groceries or because I was putting away some new clothes I noticed my closet needed to be decluttered and organized so that’s where my focus shifted to and most people think I’m crazy but I’m always like just let me be and let me do what makes me happy in the moment because my kids are grown and they all live in different states than I do now and so do my granddaughters unfortunately so most days it’s hard to find much to make me “happy” especially now!!!

Joanna, you do what makes you feel better. We are all different. I'm like you. I feel like being a Mom right now is the most important thing. I take it one day at a time and you know what? Our family is doing just fine. I do dishes only once a day and laundry I do 2 times a week on those days I clean both bathrooms other chores I divide throughout the week so it's not so overwhelming. Hi Joanne you got quite a bit of work accomplished. You manage to get a lot done and your the only one doing it so that’s really fantastic. When my kids were young a lot of the time I did the work by my self and finished quicker. Good job.
I’m the only one who does it while I’m filming (for the most part), but my kids and ESPECIALLY Mark help tremendously. Couldn’t do it without them. ❤️❤️
I appreciate the organizing and the rotating of the older items to the front of top so the kids will grab those first. Had two do the same things with the 3 different things of eggs I bought in two weeks. Lol.

Love your videos with the laundry!! We have 4 people in our household, myself, my oldest son, my youngest son and my "adopted" son (he's my oldesy sons friend). So I do our laundry in the house, but I also do my brother, my sister in law and their two kids laundry. And recently my middle son, his fiancee and my granddaughter moved but havent gotten a washer and dryer set, so I do theirs as well. I feel like a laundry lady!! HAHAHA!! But I dont mind. I have a hack for you. My mom has been doing this for years and so do I. Instead of taking about the boxes...just put them on the ground and step on them. It gets them flat quicker and my mom does it for her little marching exercise since she is 83 and mostly sedentary. Kids might even do it for you.
if anyone believes your stockpiling is crazy obviously doesn't believe how quickly kids can blow through everything, lol. bet the snacks last maybe 2 weeks tops. also there's no harm in being extra organized, like you said, it makes you happy, and keeping organized in our home means organized lives!
I love how u organize the snacks! How do u keep ur cloth rugs for cleaning, looks so clean and no stain? Have lots of small rugs for cleaning that has stain on it and I just don’t want to throw it away because i can use it for a lot of cleaning. But it looks dirty lol

Hang in there momma! You’re doing awesome! One thing I do is still make the kids lunches and snacks, my son can go to his lunch box and have what he wants and would have on a normal school day. It helps with routine and so I’m not making lunches and snacks all day long!
