Hey man my name is Steve and I'm from Rhode Island and I'm a commercial clam digger. Next time you go clamming take the pointed end of a broom handle or shovel and stab the sand on the clam beds and the holes will open up for you and you will be able to see where they are and get more of them. When you hit the ground with the blunt end of the shovel handle the holes will open up and sometimes spit out water. And you won't have to look as hard to find them. Just wanted to try to help you out and make it easier for you and your family. ❤❤

I remember when you’re still not a married couple on the show back then and seeing you now with 2 lovely kids. Sparrow is such a cutie pie... I remember my daughter being that age.. it was the best time of my life.. enjoy them at that age as long as you can. Time flies so quickly that before you know it they are grown ups .

When I seen you pop up on outdoorboys I was like holy crap it’s Eivin! Your family was a big part of my life growing up I feel (27 now). I’ve always been outdoorsy being raised in Wisconsin but you guys really showed what being outdoorsy really is! Watching you guys build things from material at hand was one of my favorite things because I’ve always had a knack for building from playing with legos as a kid to now I’m a pipefitter/welder. It’s crazy to see how much your kids have grown too especially with me remembering a time when you guys didn’t have kids! Me and my wife have a little boy on the way in September and I look forward to him growing up on the farm here and taking him hunting and fishing and raising him to be creative and love the outdoors! You guys have a life time subscriber now and I was glad to see your dad has an Instagram so I can follow a little bit of his life too! Hopefully you guys will have your parents on once in a while too! I hope your family and Luke’s family create a strong friendship too and have more adventures too in the future because there’s just something so cool about seeing you guys together living life and having fun. Thanks for this video. It brought back a lot of memories. When I was a teen in the early 60's, I and my dad and mom visited Tuxcedni Bay, Chisik Island, Snug Harbor Cannery and Fossil Point many times. We were drift gill-netting commercialy in a 30 foot wood drift boat out of Kenai. We, my wife and I also knew Atz and Nedra when they lived in Anchorage for a while and had them to dinner a couple of times when Jewel was a baby. Small world and great memories. Luke's dad (Mel) and I also grew up together and graduated high school the same year. Also did a little clamming and blueberry picking at Polly Creek, but we flew down and landed on the beach.
