Stunning images and film 👏🏼😎 The Martin Baker Gloster Meteor looks so graceful, just a beauty of an aeroplane. My grandad worked for MB for 40 years… I have many, many old original pictures taken back in the 1960s and 70s of the MB aircraft and ejection seat images that my grandad gave to me.
I really enjoyed watching this video! The pacing was nice. I've learned a lot. I enjoyed the pictures and you had me laughing talking about the shutter. Keep these video's up. Road to 1000 subscribers soon. Have a lovely day.
Hey Giel, not seen you since maybe 10 or more years ago during the Zoersel photo flying days flights, great to see some video from your flights, keep up the great work!
No mate, not shot any aviation for over 5 years now, was doing more wildlife but everything has stopped now as I'm a fulltime carer for my Mum and that means no chance to travel. Hopefully in future I'll get more opportunities and I'll see you and the crew again!
@@kevinjackson9156 I'm sorry to hear that. Life sometimes gets in the way. I have daughter now and work as teacher so my holidays are decided for me. But we should still be around for a while so there's definitely a chance we'll meet again in or around a Skyvan! :)
Fantastic videos, Giel. New subscriber here. I have shot many many airshows, but only from the ground and only still photography, not videos yet. I have signed up for 3 days for the Sun and Fun in Florida in April. I am going to bring two Sony A1 cameras, one with a 24-70 lens, the other with a 100-400 lens (would a 200-600 be better, or too long?). Would you mind giving some advice on the setting for 4k video? I have never shot any videos with my cameras even though they are very capable. Thank you in advance and hope to meet you in Sun and Fun.
Thanks! I use a 18-135 and a 55-200. Last year I almost exclusively used the 55-200. 400 could give you the more brutal close up shots. 600 might be overkill but that is up to you. And to be hones. I have no idea what my settings for filming are. I just make sure I film in f-log so I can easily color grade afterwards. But that's basically it. Looking forward to meet you in Florida!
Awesome video! Is this a payed experience? Sorry I have seen a few videos with these awesome shots and I don’t understand how they do it? I was at RIAT Saturday and Sunday 😁
Thank you. I'm a member of the Aviation PhotoCrew. We organize these flights and share the opportunity with the other photographers. Of course, considering the costs of the operations it's not a free experience.
Incredible video! I spoke with Eric but pricing was a little out of my budget, but really love what you guys do, and hopefully one day we'll fly together!
Thanks for the kind words! It's definitely not a cheap hobby for sure. We sometimes have one day projects that are more reasonably priced compared to the multi day projects. Are you subscribed to our newsletter?
Hi @GielSweertvaegher I'd like to know your prices for a photo Flight and your prices for the flight's you did on this video, I'd love to get into Air to Air Photography so the price for the single short flight that you mentioned but also I'd like to know what the more expensive flights would cost too as as I can decide if I could afford it or not. Knowing where to book it if I can afford it would be good. Thank you
@@jamesscott9340 The prices vary a lot between projects. Sometimes we have to pay planes flying behind us, and a one day project is cheaper than a three day. But it's a couple thousand euros minimum. I would recommend to go to our website (link in description) and to subscribe to our newsletter. We communicate our upcoming projects and prices there.
Unfortunately I couldn't afford that sort of money, if I was able to afford it, it would be money well spent but I'd have to make myself a lot of money first, maybe when I get my paintings selling.
