Very nice 112, love them older ones. I have a 112 from 1973-1974 with little pins. The stamp on mine doesn’t have the dots, just Buck 112 USA. Probably my favorite knife I have. Thanks for sharing yours. I really enjoy the videos. Very nice knives.
The 112 is just a great blade, size is darn near perfect for me. I do prefer it over the 110 but the 110 is still an awesome blade!! Thanks for sharing this one with us!!
Great knife and great review. I have only one buck 112 and original sheath. I had it for over thirty years. I believe It is a 1988 model. I live on Kauai and we have a lot of cowboys and outdoorsman here. A lot of people still carry a buck folder on their belts. Thanks again for sharing your collection.
@@dwheeler016 I might be mistaken but I don't believe buck ever made one dot they made a no. And then a two Dot they did make a little dimple to test the hardness on the very early ones either way that's a great knife you have
What many younger folks don't realize is that the Buck 110&112 were the "tactical" knife 50+ years ago. I knew a lot of law enforcement and military that carried them with their leather carry rigs and 6 shot revolver.
Thought a long time about which Buck to get first: 55, then 110, finally decided on a 112FG. Traded that for a 110 50th Anniversary, which I still have along with two more 110s and a 55. Need to get a 112 to round out the collection.
I have not heard that story before! I have a 112 from about 2018 and I feel the quality is inferior to my 110 two dot? I would still recommend it though.
