My daughter had a little pouch that we used to take with us when we went for walks. She would pick up pine cones, pretty rocks, etc. and then make up stories about these “magical” items. Something so simple can be a catalyst to creativity.
We love your tutorials because you make it so easy for beginners to learn new things. You are a sweet soul & it shows in your videos. Teaching us by explaining even the small things gives us the desire to learn. Learning from you gives us the confidence to do even more. Absolutely adorable items. Even though you say they’re for beginners, those of us have sewn for many years loved doing little items like this. Also, although you say you are just a beginner, you’re very precise about your techniques which makes you way beyond the beginner. I love your videos because you show them as you go so we can keep up with what’s happening and you explain everything so well. I don’t know how you come up with all of these clever projects but thank you.

As always a great video. I like both projects. Very quick and seem easy to do. I like that you have given so many different ways of making gift card wallets. It helps to keep things interesting. And from a person that sells a lot of these items, it’s great to have a large variety to make. Keeps making them fun and gives the buyer lots to choose from. I really like the drawstring pouch too. I can see myself making those and probably some in a bigger size as well. It really doesn’t get much better than these! Love you!

Brilliant use of boxers . Much cheaper than fabric + who knew could make such nice things with them 😂. I love your projects . I haven't been sewing long so love things I can actually do. My ambition far out weighs my ability so your easy to follow instructions are perfect
After watching this twice, I realized the gathered bag could be made as a little purse for little kids by adding a couple of inches. A friend's granddaughter, who's 4, loves Purses, Princesses, Butterflies & the color Purple. So I thought I could make her a little purse & put chapstick & a smaller version of the second, card holder, with a few dollars in it along with a faux credit card with her name on it. The card holders could be used for business cards as well. I have fabric with little houses all over it I think would work for Realtors, fabric little dogs & cats for Pet sitters & dog trainers & so on. Thanks again.
I don’t know if you are new to this channel or not, but Vivian also has some other very easy to follow little purses of all sorts! There is another video that has something similar to the first project but if I remember correctly it is bigger. Anyway, I thought I’d share that. My granddaughter loves little bags and dress up and such too.

Make sure your interfacing is for iron on, it has glue ( shiny on one side and that side facing down to the fabric, ) when iron use medium heat not cold and no steam Please let me know if you have any questions Thank you Vivian
